stock enigne in C63 BS is actually masterpiece, but the idea of putting actual racing engine from SLS GT3 is absolutely genius!

The Silver CLK for me Jodie... Stylish, relatively understated but with an engine that sounds like it runs on coal... Just wonderful.

I'm on my fourth CLK63 AMG Black Series and I can't get enough of them.

Lewis turned up at Mc`s in a Black C 63 "Black" it looked stunning..... I asked him for the Keys...... But he told me, with a smile on his face, to ....Off.....And he said it was a bit stiff for the road.... Well at least I got to see one.... :-)) xx

Any one I can fit my 6 feet 6 height into LOL. Think I'd have to go with the SLS as those gull wing doors are just so iconic. Once again awesome drop! A friend has one of these I won't tell you which one, but I got to drive it last year! The drive wasn't long enough nor was the road we were on would allow you to stretch it. I have an AMG C43 2018 and I love that car! 89K and still pulls like a beast! In 3 years I will have my C63!!

Seeing that gt3 engine revealed in there is one of only 2 times in my life I laughed out loud like an absolute child at an engine bay. You just know it was some guy in a barn having a beer with the engine on a table and he looks from the engine to the car, to the engine, and back to the car and goes " WAiT a MINuTe" and calls three friends and they all do this engine swap redneck style with pizza and beer

Hey Jodie, Great video as always. Just one gripe regarding Bjorn’s reference to the SLK; a bit sad at the negative references to the this model. It was the genesis of the Black series and the AMG modified SLK was the official F1 pace car for 1 year. Surely this little AMG deserves a bit more respect! I’d love to have seen you drive all of various cars with your impressions of each model.

For me the C63 BS is the holy grail for Mercedes. It is the most beautiful car they have ever designed. Although crazy I place it above the CLK GTR. It is perfection from every angle.

We'd loved to have seen the drive even if its low speed 5 minute run around the block. Lots of vids of the modern black series around KZfaq but that 65 isn't something we see or hear much. Otherwise great video and super cool to see the evolution of the black series all side by side!

On SLK55 black series the front fenders are widened and are carbon Fiber. Also the front track has been widened.

The Black Serious range of cars has always been my favourite. I'd even take the hairdressers car.

That C 63 Black Series with the SLS GT3 engine swap is freakin' BONKERS!!! I've been wanting a new AMG GT Black Series. If I were to ever get one, I'd do something that would probably piss off Mercedes. While the 4.0-liter twin-turbo flat-plane-crank V-8 it has makes fantastic power, I cannot STAND the weak, pathetic exhaust note it produces. SOOOOOO, I'd have that engine yanked out and have a built 6.2 engine dropped in and finished off with a RENNtech exhaust system and tune. I'm all about the deep, earth shaking, chest pounding V-8 exhaust rumble, which is one of THE most important elements for a performance car for me. I think the SLS Black Series is my favorite because it already has a 6.2 and it looks great. I too love cars with a long bonnet. I'd love to have each one of the Black Series models EXCEPT the SLK55. For a Mercedes fanboy this is heaven for me....SLS my favourite, that blue on SL65 IS Sick and white and black has never looked so sporty on that amg gt black series.

Really disappointing that the rarest and first of the Black series models is referred to as a 'hairdressers' car and if you are a male driving this...blah, blah. He barely mentioned the exterior modifications on that model either. Great to see all of the cars together though.
