One mod I forgot on the exterior are the OEM Honda rain guards, I did not put those on the car myself. But they came on the car from the previous owner.

mugen body kits have been discontinued for like 10 years now and they were only made for the 2008-2010 models. Mine is a 2008 but it has a 2012 front end.

Wow, Sounds great.. gonna get ME some of that rumble tumble far-out sound for my 08, and it's actually same color too. Thinking bout selling it before my Colo road trip but hard to as it was my parents, then my 105lb American Straffy aka big ass pitbull took it over. Thanks for the update on your mods. Got the same headlights and tail lights, both make the car look 10 years newer, prefer the in channel window visors and the rear exhaust tip I would get square shape, circle is good with the old circle tail lights.

The chrome lining on the side of windows should also be painted black ASAP which will make it look like a newer car, the chrome linings on the side of the windows for newer cars are always either thinner or just blackened for every new car you see nowadays

Guess you should've told me that before I dropped 2 grand on all new OEM chrome window trim for my '09 accord coupe hehe ;) jk I don't regret it, it will look nice once I install it (eventually...after I move out of the damn desert here in NV and dont need to worry about the heat/dry/no humidity ruining the weatherstripping on the chrome pieces. [End of next year I hope]) But I've got them all sitting in my bedroom still in the packaging and its a crystal clear mirror finish on the chrome, it looks classy and not cheap...obviously looks a LOT different than the worn out chrome trim around the windows of your average 12-16 year old accord. I know not everybody will spend the type of $ and the effort that I do on my Accord (I'm about $60k deep so far, not done) but if someone wanted to, I'd say its worth the $ to get new trim (I'm guessing, I havent installed it yet lol)

Yeah, you need to add a second resonator into your exhaust system to kill all that rasp. I'm surprised you're still having that much rasp with HFPC's....

its the j-pipe that causes the rasp not the hfpc. im also running 0 resonators so thats why it's raspy. just 2 mufflers thats it

Your video is a great job. I have same make, same color, 2009 though. With this car I own I have had nothing but problems. Gas mileage is great but constantly adding a quart oil a week sucks. The tires I’ve replaced 14 in the past year &1/2. I don’t know that’s ridiculous. The alternator replaced , basically everything that works has been replaced. Over summer I thought I was going to have a heat stroke. The previous summer AC worked. No great vision with the headlights. Sometimes I pray & thank God for getting me home. The cars behind me blinds me as well as the one coming towards me. The leather is cheap it’s ridiculous. Ripping to pieces. The engine light , Tire infatuation light stays on. I have replaced the transmission lines and the horrible part is it always needs work done to and replaced parts as you would say after market. I wish you the best w/ it.

The led dome lights probably flicker when you close the door. The old style bulbs dim slowly but led can't do that.

aftermarket remote starter, I honestly don't even know what brand it is. I paid like $250 for it and it sucks to be completely honest. I should've just gotten one from Honda honestly. I appreciate the support!!

I got them off of eBay but the seller got them from no longer has them. They are called “jewel” headlights, I’m sure if you type it up on eBay for the 8th gen accord you’ll be able to find a few sellers with these headlights

Does your auto start keep the car on when u get in or put the key in ? If so is that normal?

Yes it stays on until you put the key in and unlock it. That is completely normal

I have the same headunit but my apple carplay and android auto doesnt work when i use the usb outlet. I use the usb outlet that's inside the center console

Thank you!! Have you tried to disconnect the battery for a few mins and then plug it back in and start the car?? It may help turn those codes off

it was a factory option when the car first came out, im guessing the first owner just bought it with it on already. It was on the car when i purchased it about 4 years ago.

I don’t have that car anymore lol I sold it but honestly I wanted to at first and then the spoiler grew on me and I left it alone. It’s an OEM Honda spoiler too and they are hard to find so it didn’t really bother me

@@cv2rob thanks for getting back to me, your Accord looks great and sounds badass! For mine, I don't want to mess with the coilovers, spacers or precats. I'm most interested in the new screen with bluetooth, muffler and resonator delete/change (for deeper, louder sound without too much harsh noise or droning). I own a 2008 honda accord EX-L 3.5L V6 automatic. I'm new to modding and explored some aftermarket sites but I'm just unsure what my best options are to keep it simple for now. I know RV6, Magnaflow, P2R are solid companies for parts, would you mind linking what you can find that you own and any other companies/websites that are quality and reputable?

If there’s anything in specific that you want links for I can try to go through my Amazon, eBay and maybe even my safari and see if I can find some of the things you are interested in getting. Some stuff I got on Amazon, like the radio screen says it’s no longer available but I’m sure I can find it under a different name. Just get me a list of things you’re interested in and I’ll do my best to help you out!!

Do yourself a favor and take off the old steering wheel badge instead of putting it over it, mine fell off about 6 months after and it also looks way more flush to the steering wheel.

@@cv2rob i dont blame you it took me nearly an hour to get it off and i have pretty good tools but ended up mostly using my wifes graphic design gear (mainly the weeding tool to get it off) and cut my hand about 3 time with it so if you do end up doing it wear gloves 😭

nah bro don't wanna risk cracking my oil pan or my transmission transfer case. I had it lower but i raised it about an inch because the roads where i live are terrible and i took a chunk out of the transmission case already.

@@cv2rob invest in a steel skid plate, around 200-300 bucks. or you can raise your trans/engine as well but that comes with some issues so do your research.
