Every New Cleric Needs to See This Solo Build | Guide, Gameplay and Commentary | Dark and Darker

Hey guys,
I've posted a Dark and Darker video similar to this before. This is the PVE clearing, quickly leveling, money-making Cleric Build. AKA Rat Cleric. The entire idea behind this build is to bring Holy Purification, perks that make it stronger, and then just run around the Howling Crypts and clear as many mobs as you can. More mobs = more experience, and killing the skeletons faster means we have more time to sit back and loot. In most cases at least... In this game, we ran into some players, and honestly the majority of loot that we picked up was from the PVP. But that shows that this Dark and Darker build does it all! Holy room clear, that is a combination of skills I never thought to use. But with the blunt damage bonus being at 10% instead of 15% now it seems like a no brainer. protection from evil is the best skill.

The 10% increase for blunt damage still definitely isn’t bad for PVP, I wouldn’t give that up completely. But if you’re just trying to clear through Crypts, this is definitely the way to go! Haha

I think I had just bought rawhide gloves from the leather smith. If you’re planning to play cleric as your main, do the quests and you’ll unlock them from free in your squire though :)

is a solo build, with friends you want to be support unless your friends are bad at the game haha

Like Stalloner said… This is more of a build to rat around and quickly clear. You can use it when you play alone to get gear for when you’re with your friends :) This “could” also work if you’re wanting to stay away from PVP with your friends. But when you’re playing cleric with friends, you should either just be focused on healer or front-lining if you don’t have a fighter/barbarian with you. :)

What's crazy.. im new to the game, and i had no clue you could swivel your melee to hit in a wide arc, you just changed so much more me just with that. I already was running cleric so I'm quite happy with this video Edit: You how how many times players like you have just attacked me and killed me even when i never attacked and really said in prox that im peaceful im new i dont have shit, and they still loot my body as if i had something. by that point im out of potions and all so im literally wasted effort as a kill. XD js that shits sad but fair cuz he did intend to kill. once an intention will be a back turned intention again XD

Well, I’m glad I could help with that, and I’m glad you’re happy with the vid :) And yeah… People definitely enjoy Timmy stomping in this game. But part of it is probably that it used to happen to them too. It’s a vicious cycle lol
