The gameboy advance gave me a lot of nostalgia when I saw it.... I feel like taking it out now.... Too bad I don't know where the charger is. Also I my yoshi's island game is in my other ds so not really anything worthwhile to play unless I find that. ;-; whyyyyyy!

I remember my indigo gameboy advance used to have batteries everywhere. I would even retry old batteries hoping for a few more minutes. BUT THEN THE GAMEBOY ADVANCE SP CAME OUT WITH A CHARGER AND BACKLIGHT HOLY SHIT THAT WAS AN INCREDIBLE CONSOLE

I feel nostalgia from the DS and 3DS, but definitely especially from the WiiU as well. I played so much Scribblenauts Unlimited back then. And so much Mario Maker. And so much of many other Wii and WiiU games.

I remember I currently had a DS lite, and while on a vacation at the coast, we were in a shopping mall, and I came across a 3DS on display. I was so surprised they made a new one, and I played the demo and the 3D aspect of it freaked me out, felt like magic. I wanted one so bad. I eventually got one for my birthday😁. Man, back when birthdays were special

I don’t care what anyone says, the DS and 3DS had the best startups. Every time I hear them (especially the og DS) I feel like a kid again. I specifically remember being at my grandparents house playing New Super Mario Bros and Mario Vs Donkey Kong 2 and being so immersed in the game that I didn’t realise how hard I was tapping the screen with my stylus and accidentally cracked it.

Lavender Rose my cousin sold her old DS to me when I was about 5 or 6. I used to play Nintendogs on it all the time until my mom got me more games. Many nintendo consoles don't have start screens; NES(Non Japan Version), SNES, Original N64, and Wii. The switch animation might seem off to you but that is actually what it looks like to start it for the first time after taking it out of the package.

Fun-fact: The Famicom and N64 have a startup screen only if you connect them to theyr disk addons only sold in Japan. In the rest of the world (at least back then) the consoles boots directly the games after they were switched on.

God I loved my Nintendo DS still probably my favorite handheld. One of my favorite game systems overall tbh. That, my gameboy advance and my GameCube. Man Nintendo really was responsible for my whole childhood
