The Packers are in a similar situation to the Buccaneers, where David Bakhtiari’s injuries and release leave them with a need upfront. Troy Fautanu from Washington and his versatility makes him a strong fit for Green Bay, which always shows the willingness to move players around to find the best players on the line to give Jordan Love the best protection any quarterback could ever ask for. The Packers need to boost up their offensive line for Jordan Love and Josh Jacobs after parting ways with long-time but injured aging David Bakhtiari. Many mock draft prognosticators anticipate the Packers will do something to address the absence of David Bakhtiari on the offensive line by tapping into a deep pool of offensive line talent in this 2024 NFL draft. Can you answer this question. Do most teams in thr NFL base their draft on RAS. I always hear us and the Colts are crazy about RAS when drafting. Seems like a great way to draft. Get the best athletes. Are the Colts and the Packers unique as far as this drafting model or does most of the NFL factor RAS into most of their decisions?

The RAS numbers sure show why Zach Tom is a great versatile O-lineman. From the data in this video it sure looks to me like the Packers need Graham Barton or Jackson Powers-Johnson at Center and then later in the draft I want them to pick Cooper Beebe for RG and later Mason McCormick and Beaux Limmer for backup G and C and then even later Tanor Bortolini for backup C and G. That would be 4 picks out of the 11 they have. Seems workable. I want them to also pick a T in the mid round if they don't get Mims at 25. I would like a review of the Tackles in this draft. Very important that the Packers get their pick out of this draft for T too and they have the picks to do it.

I have JPJ's projected RAS at 9.9 using the 5.0 40 listed on draftbuzz and using a 1.75 10 yard split, which would align him with Cooper Bebe since they are they same size with the same 40 time.

His RAS score was like a 9.76 if I remember correctly. Shame, he was a great athlete and a TERRIBLE lineman. I remember they even tried him at G and he just couldn't get it done.

I don't think they will draft an O-line men in at 25 unless they are starting.Why? Because if he dont start it wouldn't make salary cap sense to be on the sidelines. What will make the Packers better.A good run stuffing nose tackle. Maybe Cooper Dajean.

I’d be curious if Xavier Worthy dropped in the second or even third if they wouldn’t feel motivated to snag him up and have at least 3 of the top 20 fastest WRs in the NFL

Don't think he will drop that far but if you have him staring you in the face, and Gute thinks he is the best player left on the board, I wouldn't have any problem with them pulling the trigger. We have other needs of course and a strong WR room, but there are some that think he had higher upside than Marvin Harrison Jr. Won't take but a few injuries and we have an average WR room. Keep on feeding JLove weapons💥💪💥💪

If you watch other teams..and the amount of sacks given up and the stupid ones taken..at critical moments you'll realize we are in good shape..just need down the road depth..Mims or Guyton round 1 solidify those edges.

i just for the life of me do not understand the 1st round OL talk, i really am trying but i dont. what other franchise has a history even remotely rivaling Green Bays ability to develop later round OL talent. Marco Rivera, Adam Timmerman, Earl Dotson, Scott Wells, Daryn Colledge, Mark Tauscher, TJ Lang, Josh Sitton, Corey Lindsley, Bahk, Elgotn Jenkins, Zack Tom, Rasheed Walker, UDFA Yosh, list goes on and on. dont burn a 1st rounder whos a project

You go based off the value. If you can get someone who you think can be a stud you take him. Jenkins was a 2nd round pick. Bulaga was a first round pick.

I have to agree. The college football analysts don't properly know how to evaluate offensive lineman. They miss more than they hit with the Olineman. For that reason, there will be many studs that are overlooked in the mid rounds and there will be players with great RAS scores in the first that will not make good pros. Now if the Pack can get a guy with good experience and a high relative strength score then maybe they have something for the future.

@@RobertSorenson4991 I’m not seeing any OL outside of Barton worth a 1st rounder. JPJ I think is a fringe 2nd rounder and Sims and guyton are project prospects. And I didn’t mention Bulaga because he was a stud as 1st rounder and we needed him. We don’t need a 1st round T ride with what you got Sheed did more then enough to get another year at LT and Tom holding down RT

Let’s get off Cooper DeJeans teet for a moment. The one guy worth trading up for if still there at 15 when the colts pick (before Seattle) and is the bull of this draft at CB is QUINYON MITCHELL CB- TOLDEO💥this kid is a beast!!! Ran a 4.33 forty…1.51 10 yd spilt, 38 in vertical…10’2 broad jump and threw up 225lbs 20 times!!!! That 20 rep bench was better than 300 lbs OL & DL!!! This young man in the only CB that’s worth trading up for!! The last time I said for GB to trade up for a can’t miss BULL CB was the 2007 draft…I was screaming at the TV for TED THOMPSON to trade up to 13 from 16 TO GET Darrelle Revis!!! Instead Ted stays at 16 and takes the bust-in Justin Harrell🤯I still get super annoyed at that no move by Ted!!! I thought Revis was a perfect fit to w/ Charles Woodson and a great young Cb to pass the torch to when Woodson was done at GB! Mitchell would be huge! if Mitchell is there at 15 I’d give the 41st and a 3rd rd pick next yr in 25’to get the best CB in this class!!! Justin Harrell🤯🤪

Kool Aid is not high end in my book! Kool Aid benefited from a five star front seven at Bama who could consistently pressure the QB and the Texas WRs in this years draft drank a lot of kool aid in a win at Bama! Mitchell is a bull!!! Mitchell’s press man coverage is a perfect match too in Hafley’s 4-3!!

Just draft the best C and best G on their board within the first 7 picks and move on. Stop drafting a high pick at Tackle only to move them to a G. It’s a waste of value. If you need a T then draft him and have him play the position. We really need to nail the LB, CB, S somewhere in between all that. Get JPJ and Beebe(sp) somewhere and fill in the blanks. I love Gute but this whole draft one guy who you think can play 82 different positions is too cute and bites ya in the ass. Get the best bad ass dudes who play their position better than everyone else.

I understand the concept of thresholds but eliminating a 6'3" player because Green Bay hasn't drafted a player at the position under 6'4 in the last 6 drafts is a bit silly... an inch of height.. with a very small sample size. With no mention of arm length which is arguably as important as height. I understand you have to do what you can to create daily content but again, silly.
