Honestly, I’m that passionate about this team, too. I’m just in a bad place. I’ll love this team till I die, but I’m not afraid to call them what they are … capitalism at its finest form in America: high prices for a substandard product.

Maybe it’s cause I’m drunk, but these walk-offs show how sad this team has been. I’m a life-long Pirates fan, in Tennessee no less, so I’m not one of those Yinzers who bitch about everything constantly. Jacob Stallings comes off like a Hall of Famer. But the “passed ball” walk-off was the second best way these sh***y teams won. That is just sad. That I’ve cheered lustily for some journeyman who got hot for a week says something about Pirates baseball. Fugg Nutting!
