@@sunnysonne2957 Nine's Own Goal was the original guild name when there were just 9 members. Touch Me was the guild eader. When the guild expanded Touch Me stepped down as leader and Momonga was elected as the new leader of the newly formed guild Ainz Oal Gown.

Anyone who thinks Ainz is the strongest doesn’t watch the show. He was one of the weaker casters in the guild but the best skillful wise.The fact that he could never beat Touch me speaks a lot about how talented touch me was.

Interesting, I am surprised that you didn't mention that Belriver was a reporter in the real world where he found information about one of the mega corporations and they killed him for it. He's one of the few players that didn't leave the game voluntarily.

there is a theory that New world is a form of VR control the Corpo were testing, to turn us into living battery like in the Matrix. Belriver found out about it and get "silence". And many player including Ainz is currently theirs test subject. Giving how abusive and exploitive the Corpo already are in the real world, this doesn't sound that hard to believe.

@@DevinAswani i think he relayed it to Ulbert who is a political activist & together they asked for help to expose this info from Touch Me who is a policeman irl but he declined fearing for his family's safety. Things went south later on and Belriver was killed which made Ulbert hate Touch Me enough to quit the guild and cut off ties with the other members too..Touch Me soon followed who quit out of guilt

It is interesting that Touch Me was a cop. Many players liked to play their fantasies in Yggdrasil, like Blue Planet recreating a pollution free sky or Ulbert pretending to be evil incarnate. Touch Me acted like a power ranger, old style hero. Likely because his work as a cop in what is pretty much Cyberpunk Edgerunners left a bad taste in his mouth.

Ulbert not only strongest magic caster he also has the highest top damage(burst) because of his class as a World Disaster, (mare aquire that class but its lesser version), Because that makes him have a small mana capacity and always run out mana when guild come to Raid and Bosses, so the guild (Ainz Ooan Goal) prefers choose Momonga who is Jack O All Trade and capabilities with 700+ more magic spell.

In no part it's stated that he wasn't able to do well on raids or that Momonga was picked instead of him, on contrary, it is stated that he one shot 4 lvl 87 Primal elementals, one lvl 90 Primal Star Elemental and hitting the raid boss Asura for a good chunk of life when they took over the Tomb of Nazarick, and the spell cost was 60% of his mana pool. Heck, there is no reason to believe mana potions didn't exist on Yggdrasil, so high mana consumption shouldn't be an issue for anyone.

@@jesusojeda7850 Usually for everyone, but Ulbert's class is very rare because it can make magic damage that surpasses tier magic but the user pay sacrifices 60% of his mp, On Bluray Special 6, when take down Nazarick, Ulbert has to save his mp because (class world disaster) takes up a lot of MP and he will be used against bosses, In Acadia, Maruyama explained that even though Ulbert class is very strong he is not suitable for long term quests and normally someone with this class should have a lot of items. It made sense that the guild chose Ainz as the magic caster for the quest because he was quite useful in all the quests.

@@kallenstudio8728 You just point out that Maruyama confirmed what I said- he had to use items to keep going. A build that its very reliant on consuming mana items is very common on RPGs, nevermind MMOs. Also, you misunderstood the 60% mana cost about Ulbert's spell "Grand Catastrophe". It's not a "sacrifice", its a mana cost. You need to look at overlord's lore as game mechanics, particularly the Yggdrasil's story

I really like Amanomahitotsu, I don't know which vol it is mentioned that he changed blacksmith Class to a fighting class because the guild needs manpower, also he owned a power suit that got 1 hit by Peroroncino.

Still pisses me off how the golems are for power leveling instead of level converters. A mech would've been perfect item to make crafting players somewhat useful in such a pvp-oriented/competitive game. Also, why the HELL does crafting levels take up your total level? That's insane!? 99% of games keep non-combat levels and combat levels separate for a reason. A very GOOD reason! So why? (Yggdrasil Game Devs failed game design, that's why a 22nd century game only lasted a decade while a 21st century game lasted twice that)

Surgery, not amputation. New world uses healing magic, even at low tiers capable of growing limbs and restoring entirely. The poor use magical herbs instead, which is still better than Surgery.

Punitto Moe has a calculated personality. He love to gather information worldwide and will do everything to make those information useful.( Even cause infighting among enemy.) He is surely greater than Momonga in term of strategies. But if we talk about adaptability, Momonga is second to none.

Don't think Surshana's build has been confirmed. We know from LN he had a scythe but was web novel that mentioned he was robes and a staff and Scythe. Doubt a caster can use Scythe as Ainz can't so suspect he is either a spiritual caster or a hybrid caster.

Finding more players. Like top players, i think touch me who momonga never won against him is the top 3 in global top. But most likely the only danger for ainz is the high level dragons in his world

Ainz remembered his few old guildmates couple of times in anime and there is one time where Eight Greed Kings are mentioned by Ainz in later episodes of Season 4.

@@AnimeStatsSama damn. so even if i catch up to the anime, I still wont know wtf your talking about? thats horrible. Im very intrigued by the concept of overlord, until the point i realize almost no plot points are fully explored or even half explained and most of the world building is the most vague information it just constantly leaves more unanswered. If i watch the anime what exactly am i getting out of it? I look for story progression. Like will we get any exposition on his plans for the future at all? Or will there be an actual significant threat to them in the anime? So far ive watched up s3 (completely feeling lost) but i want to rewatch to try and gauge the story. is it worth following for that fact? like will he eventually meet players like he originally thought in ep1 ? or is this more of a, "this is it." he is the one and only op god character where they never really escape the isekai, or find any real threats in their world. i feel like om just watching a slice of life anime where the guy accepted he has been teleported to a fantasy world and is just riding the wave of awesome shit after? from what i can tell, ainz CANNOT be killed by anything in the current anime where im at. is that something that ever changes? does he ever fear for his life?

@@JEMA333 There are certainly other Powerful entities in the world he is currently in. The fact is that Players like him appeared before him centuries ago; they have also left their mark in the world and left their equipment. Outside of Nazarick, there is another guild base Left behind by previous players, where the powerful Dragon Lord resides. This dragon will appear in Season 4. Also, there are other powerful dragons whose power rivals that of 100 level players.

@@JEMA333 There is more to the Overlord than meets the eye. Anime doesn't do justice to the Worldbuilding aspect of the Novel, which, in my opinion, is one of the best parts of it.
