Joel Embiid becomes the 9th player in NBA history to record 70+ points in a game
70 points is a new 76ers franchise record for points in a game, previous:
Wilt Chamberlain - 68 pts 12/16/1967
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 133-123. Joel Embiid recorded a career-high 70 points, along with 18 rebounds and 5 assists for the 76ers, with Tyrese Maxey adding 18 points and 8 assists in the victory. Victor Wembanyama tallied 33 points and 7 rebounds for the Spurs. The 76ers improve to 29-13, while the Spurs fall to 8-35.
Embiid is the first player in NBA history to record 70 points, 18 rebounds, and 5 assists in a game
Embiid joins Wilt Chamberlain (5x) and Elgin Baylor as the only players in NBA history to record 70 points and 15 rebounds in a game

Injury-proneness and laziness are a big weakness for Embiid. And he blames his teammates for his own failures. And he values personal success over team success.
