Like the fact that it's almost identical to the one he did at the World Cup, and that that casualness in *both* versions of that goal almost makes it seem like he had used and combined every one of those skills (from his first touch out of the air, to his turns, to his ability to find the far corner even from seemingly impossible angles) *many* times before and that that legendary World Cup quarterfinal goal was *no accident* at all, but that it was simply only a matter of time before he did all that on such a big stage? :) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o9yCeMueudbYg5c.html I agree! I'll admit, I didn't realize the significance of that goal (his World Cup goal) when I was younger, but realizing now that it wasn't a lucky moment at an opportune time, but an entire career's worth of work *finally* paying off makes me appreciate that goal, and the player who scored it, *so much* more!

Simply put: that goal against Argentina was *no* accident (as his nearly identical goal on this video somewhat proves)! He had a *jaw-dropping* first touch out of the air, he was *very* good at turning defenders, he was *incredible* at finding the far corner of the goal (even when there was *barely* any angle to do so), and he *often* would combine either two or all three of those skills to create *dozens* of absolute masterpieces! As a Chelsea fan since 1995, Zola is my favourite. But Thierry Henry is the greatest ever Premier League player. Not just greatest "striker", but all around player. There has never been an opponent who was as terrifying (Thierry-fying) as him. He had a sprinter's pace, he could take on your entire team alone, you could score a goal out of nothing, he could smash them in from 30+ yards, he could put a free kick into the top corner ... and he could also provide an assist - he was really unselfish. His all-round game was more devastating than any other player ever in the Premier League. John Terry has said on at least 2-3 occasions that Henry was the ONLY player that gave him a bad feeling even a day before a game and he said no other player has had that effect on him. Mind you, John Terry has played against some of the very best in the history of the Premier League. As a Chelsea fan, I couldn't agree more that he was the one player I doubted if my team can handle. Just look at the quality of his goals. There has never been another like him.

14:11-14:14, look at the palace fans even though he's sliding in front of them, faces of people that don't care about their team for a split second, just amazed by the goal.

That Berger goal does not get enough credit. The sheer audacity to shoot there. Mind boggling.

I am a chelsea fan i remember the first goal from cisse. He had 2 that game and it was the first time in a long time I was just in awe, not even angry at how well he played that game.

Classy move from the Chelsea fan behind the goal instantly applauding the Cisse goal. He loves the sport, not only his club.

Scholes' volley was in the FA Cup i think. Personally, i think Essien's goal against Arsenal should've been here for that year.
