I’m a Charlotte Tilbury addict & am never disappointed (her products make me feel special) but I truly appreciate your honesty, so much so this is the first time I’ve commented on a youtube video. Personally, I find anything from the Pillow Talk range a bit too light for my complexion. I have the Bella Sofia quad and I agree with your assessment of it. What I love are the Walk of No Shame stuff as they suit my medium to dark complexion, especially the Matte Revolution lipstick and the Cheek To Chic blush. In fact, the Walk of No Shame is the only high-end lipstick I use on a regular basis. It is so pretty!

Agree with you! I’m around the NC42 mark in MAC (Fenty Eaze Drop #12) and the original pillow talk is too light for me. Walk of no shame and deeper versions of pillow talk work perfectly for me :) Great video Lauren!!

I have bothe the CT and the Auric Glow Lust and I like the Auric Glow Lust even more - as a glowy primer... if I wanna use it as a highlighter then I like the CT more. And I usually use it as a primer. The Auric has amazing packaging too ♡

The Nars highlighters are the same baked gelee formula. You should try Fort de France and buff it in for a super glossy shine

This was such a great video! So informative. I never hear anybody talk about the fragrance. I had it years ago and loved it and completely agree with you about the notes. I get the middle note’s especially the patchouli! It’s very powdery and you calling it vintage smelling couldn’t be closer to the truth! It makes me think of old screen sirens in all their silk and chiffon.

I enjoyed the makeup vid. First I’ve watched in awhile because I’m on a huge fragrance kick… and with that…not at all related to this video. But I think a fun fragrance video idea would be about ISO E Super fragrances. What you have, what you love, ones you don’t, etc.

I tried A LOT of CT products and by far the worst is the perfume. It has an old lady smell, maybe for someone who was young in the 1920s or 1930ies lol. My fav products from her is the Flawless Filter and the Bronzer/highlighter duo that I don’t remember the name of. It’s perfect for fair skin.

You definitely got the Charlotte Tilbury look here! My favorite products from the brand are the Eyes to Mesmerize and the KISSING lipsticks. HFF is pretty, but gives me breakouts if I use multiple days in a row.

I was disappointed in the powder everyone raves about. For one for the price the packaging is lightweight plastic and also I just didn't see what was so special about it. It's a nice powder but I like my shop miss a AOA loose setting powder better and it's like $1.

I have: Nudegasm Face Palette: it’s good, I mainly use the sculpting shades Airbrush powder bronzer: it’s lovely, definitely a fave Cream bronzer: I have fair and medium and I love them both, my everyday bronzers Magic vanish colour corrector: I can’t be without this! I use it every time I do my makeup and it works so well, and I’ve tried so many correctors Filmstar bronze and glow palette: my first CT product, and still my fave highlighter of all time Pillow talk lip cheat: it’s good, formula is great but not really my colour Quad palettes: I have the Rebel and the Rock Chick and I love them both, very easy to blend and last really well

I didn't love the pressed powder but I'm very glad that I tried it. It's one of those products that is so hyped that you have FOMO. They offer mini sizes now! My favorite product from Charlotte Tilbury is definitely the airbrush liquid foundation. And then the lip liner in the shade super size me. I also really enjoy the lipstick formulas I've tried. I tend to like the bullet lipsticks more. I've also been using the really popular lip liner lately. I don't have the component in front of me but I think it's iconic nude?

I just got the ELF halo glow since it is supposed to be a dupe for the Hollywood flawless filter. The lightest shade is straight up orange! Just thought I'd let everyone know. For shade reference, I'm slightly lighter than Lauren. I wear the shade fair cool in the yensa foundation.

Huh, I wonder if they needed to do a more fair shade. I also have the lightest shade and I have light to light medium (in the summer) with a neutral undertone and it doesn’t pull orange on me at all.

I just got my first Charlotte Tilberry products with their last makeup mystery box. I really love most of the items that came in it. Probably my favorite was the 12 pan instant eye shadow palette in smokey eyes are forever. I'll be picking up some quads and the eyes to mesmerize in oyster pearl during their next sale.

Hey also love the Hollywood flawless filter and same thing happens to my bottle the rating on the bottle fades off and that is unfortunate I wish it did not do that but I would purchase again and I’m happy they make a mini size now so in the future I will just purchase the mini size because it last forever

Glad to hear that the Exagger-Eyes quad leans cool in person because I just bought it, hoping for exactly that. Also splurged on the new brightening pressed powder based on several really good reviews. The only CT product I currently own is the Push Up Lashes mascara in Dream Pop and I love it! Tried a deluxe sample in the black and it was utterly forgettable, but the mauvey Dream Pop is chef's kiss level perfection, IMHO.

Yes,enjoyed this video and would happily watch other brands. Love CT blushes and pressed powder,also agree that the eyeliner is really really nice. Lipliners last a very long time also!

I only own the highlight wand in pillow talk and it is freaking stunning. It was out of stock forever in my country. And I own the cream bronzer and I looooove it. Her quads are gorgeous, but they are just too expensive for me. Haha Cannot wait to get her upcoming pillow talk face palette

I so agree w everything you said ab the Charlotte tilbury flawless filter .. so many dupes but there’s just something ab it .. elf has more pigment but a little less glow on me under foundation I always tell ppl the elf feels like a skin tint or serum foundation but CT just feels like a luxury serum! When I swipe the elf on I feel a pull when I swipe the CT on it just glides like butter! I’m using my elf in the lightest shade as an eye brightener

So far, one fail for me, it's the foundation. I can't get it to work at all. I love the new concealer and pressed powder, as well as translucent as in fair.

This was incredibly helpful, just watched it all till the end finally, thank you ! If you want more balm lipstick - check Kiko Milano jelly stylo lipsticks - theyre sooo glossy and like a lipbalm but nice color pay off too. Or Catrice gel plumping lipsticks - theyre going to be discontinued soon.

I really love the chameleon eyeshadow stick that I have (dark pearl). I am on a shadow stick kick lately, and I love the ease of use. I either want 1 shadow or 6 on my eyes 😝 I have oyster pearl for the mesmerize eye pots…I was so disappointed with how much that shade blended into my skin tone. The color is gorgeous, then I put it in and “poof” it is gone. I wanted to love it so much! We should trade! Haha

I completely agree with you about the concealer it totally sucks the only reason I purchased it was because I bought into the hype I am so mad that KZfaqrs hype it up because it freaking sucks it is so nasty

I just bought the Bar of Gold highlighter trio on Mercari for $20!😁Barely used. They also had the Fine Gold bar as a single. Didn’t see either of the other two shades as a single.

I've got a couple of the CT lipsticks and while I like the shades ok - I would rather pick up a Givenchy, Gucci, or Dior lipstick in that price point. Or even a Makeup By Mario... I don't find the shades to be thaaaaaatt fantastic where I feel like I'm not getting something in these other brands (especially Dior - they have sooo many formuals/shades). I guess I'm not completely sold on Charlotte's makeup

Lauren! I've been trying to tell you but I feel my comment always gets lost. You are my makeup twin basically and I NEED YOU TO TRY the Neutrogena HydroBoost liquid lip balms. Oh my. I love the Roen Charlie gloss ...thank you BC, and i feel these are pretty similar.......the way you described the lip product you want, girl.....you need to try them. They have been described as a dupe for the Givenchy swirl balms except not swirled. They aren't new but dang soooooo good!

Everyone and their mom and their dog said the gold bar highlighters were dry, powdery, chunky, and glittery. I stayed far FAR away since I heard that and the Sephora reviews were absolutely terrible.

The rare beauty bronzer is 7 grams so I would say CT is a ton of bronzer.

I have cool coloring and I have The Rock Chick quad. I haven't used it a lot so far but it's beautiful on. With the Full Fat Mascara it only lasted for two months instead of three months and I was disappointed with how it did not last longer.

I am guessing the cream bronzer is refillable like the flawless filter bronzer and the refill is a bit cheaper but idk for sure about the cream if it is refillable

I think your missing the best products! The powder bronzer, matte revolution lipsticks, lip liners, the setting spray, brow pencils, undereye corrector, even the blush wands and the powder!

Love their flawless setting powder but hate their bronzer and highlighter palette, i tried it several times and even added it to my projected pan but nothing works. For $68 you expect it to put it on by its self. it’s just horrible the highlighter is so chunky and the bronzer is sooooo patchy. I even tried it as eyeshadow but it creases 😫 I just threw it away I got so frustrated trying to make it work. Does anyone else have this problem?

I only have two things from Charlotte tilbury. I have the Hollywood Flawless filter which I love and I have a lipstick in Walk of no shame I couldn't tell you if the formulas any good because I hate the color so much

I do like the CT lipstick formulas, but the powder is overrated AF, imo. Felt like I really needed to dig my brush in there to get any powder on my face and feel like I was setting my makeup and, as a result, I hit pan very quickly. For that price point so not worth it. HOWEVER, since you do like to be glowy, you might actually enjoy the powder. I prefer a slightly more matte look on myself.

I bought several things during the big summer sale, and I have been seriously disappointed with the eyeshadow quads, exaggereyes and pot cream eyeshadow. I won’t be repurchasing from her. The price/quality don’t work for me. Out of 6 palettes, only one I think was sort of worth it

I stopped buying anything from Charlotte Tilbury. I had almost all the cream shadows, a lot of the palettes, and quite a few lipsticks. I have de-cluttered nearly all of it, including the contour and highlight wands. I just don’t find the quality and formulas to be up to par to what I thought they would be 🫤
