Odachi is really slept on from Shadowkin faction. He’s got a provoke on the A1, an AOE that puts a shield on him (pretty decent shield too) on the A2, and the A3 blocks debuffs and increases defense on ALL allies, and he can tank a really good amount of damage so if you bring a healer or speed boosters with him and even get tricky with masteries, he can reset his cool downs and be good for tons of places. I haven’t even tried him with end game or high tier sets like stoneskin but I can imagine he’s a boss with really good sets.

Now that Retaliation is only a 2 piece set, for early to mid game, Executioner in Stun and Retaliation would be a nice option. Alternatively, putting him in Cursed set and building him with high Resistance and using him as a Mischief tank on a normal Hydra team. Pair him with a champ with Increase Buff Duration and his counterattack will stay up for most of the fight.

Metal shaper is a 2 turn AOE sheild on a 2 turn CD - not stuns. Good for Borgoth mostly. (BUT also with a decent A1, x4 Def (1079 base) with a 45% buff steal). As for others not mentioned: Bellower, Heiress is a beast for clan boss comps as much as pain keeper is, Soulbound Bowyer a secret room master (hell build a few in the late game), Marquess one of the hardest hitting champs in the game and a defence champ, Warmaiden is key until you get a better defence down epic/leggo.... Amoung many more possible mentions. And my own personal shout-outs to Theurgist and Abyssal - have a three copies of both of them to help smash out clan quests (both do both Atk up and Def up full AOE on a single ability; they aren't alone in that, but the only two rares that do). Especially earlier game opens up easy to grab and smash out elite quests; assuming you don't push your 3v3 rating too high.

I use Master Butcher with my Hephraak in stone gear. Butcher dies and brings back one of my guys, and Hephraak smashes twice. When the ally comes back instantly, it surprises most people because they are at full health. Hephraak takes his turn and he smashes yet again twice! That's four attacks!! The butcher brings back a Godseeker, who brings back the Butcher. and then she brings back Hephraak if he falls, to do it all over again, as all his skills are reset. Then Butcher creates havoc by provoking somebody. lots of fun.

Also, Seducer (Undead Hordes, Void Rare) Has Block DeBuffs on two turns.

Nice to see these updates but i felt i didn´t really learn too much this time. I have been actually hoping to see some viewpoints getting their own video. Where are rares used. Why? What happens ingame when you progress. When doing these rare guides I would start off with all the rare revivers. They are all more or less usable in getting further with those faction wars points. That is my opion. Then i would move on to the next category wich are the mid to end game rares for certain uses. Those being Doom Tower rooms, Coldheart, last runs of faction wars and Dungeon etc. specialities. Players with good gear/account want specifics. An early player might want infromation to fully book a farmable Muckstalker with all the spares. Muckstalker is an investment to his future - but propably would not want to spend his best speed boots on that dude. Efficient rares with no need for accuracy might be much valuable information than the Krakens Corpulent Cadaver build (RIP). SO THEN i would talk about all the rares with good startup kits and such. Maybe faction synergy and gear building for the ones who face early content. Teahc to understand the games mechanics. Most of the watchers are drawn to these rare videos for the main two reasons: 1. Who are food champions 2. They have no end game champs/gear/account present. Knowledge is growing, champions are slow, no good accessories.. the classic arena might be in bronze or early silver.. For instance: the campaign farmable Spirithost is a very good progression champion with the all battles speed aura. When starting the game - speed progression is important. It´s true Ash.. :P I am now moving into thinking what rare teams to create for the doom tower rooms. Wise investments with a never ending line of champions to 60. Starting to have some gear.. so what gear sets to put on who etc. But most rare guide watchers propably just want learn to understand the game better and not waste their time or resources. Me: You might regret feeding the revivers, Coldheart and Pain Keeper. Eventually they too will turn into food supply. Started off with Kael and did not regret it (still a 50). Who would Odd and Ash pick as their "atleast one rare champion" advanced quest champion? Pain Keeper, Kael, Coldheart, Frozen Banchee.. .."Bellower the forgotten" 😊✌??

Petrifya should get two chances to stun on the 2 hitter. It still gives a separate chance if each hit does something different. I believe it no longer works on champs that hit multiple times, but it just has one effect. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

I've been over impressed by petrifya rockroot. I built her on the fly for the demon spawn only turn attack tournament in fireknight. I popped her in relentless/perception and it blew me away. I had so much success I brought her back in for this current turn attack on fireknight. A notable mention I have is Prosecutor from high elves. And Judges twin brother Wanderer is actually worth a build.

To the Editor. Love that Scyl is a Yandere for Ash. Good Work 🤣🤣 ALso. My Fellhound one shots brutal and at 200 speed two shots nightmare 6-6 with the sames stats for brutal. i found this by myself and im preety sure it will save time to people as the xp gains are 2x brutal 12-6. double energy, double xp but less runs so more time to live outside 😅

I got Pain Keeper in a dirty dirty money spender account where I bought some meals, I looked at rares worth leveling to 60 lists from you and Hellhades and she was included in both so I fed her to 6* as soon as she hit 30, haven't regretted it

Broadmaw is an Epic man..... Eviscerator is great. A1 Poison and A2 AOE Decrease Defense for 2 turns but the Passsive is crazy good. Attacks an enemy with the default skill whenever they are healed or receive a buff with a 1 turn cool down (never off). Very fun VOID champ and also Increses Crit Rate in ALL battles by 16%.

I am surprised that Treeshield knot or Shadowbow turlac didn't make it in the list. I guess it makes sense you have to pick the best out of the best and there are a fair bit of rares that are decent, not great but decent, so the video would be stupid long if you tried to name all instead of picking the standouts. Alright back to grinding for gear in Dragon and Spider for me lol.

a tip for Osama: Look for Lindemann ft ZAZ, Jardin des larmes. You could use the end of the song to show the little fights of Ash vs Scyl. They picture it perfectly and the end scene could be Scyl burying Ash in the desert after he 'betrayed' her one last time 🤣

Always love some spotlight on champs not a lot of people will think of or those that show you can do stuff without a ton of legendaries! Excited to see the colab too and really want to see you join ne of the DWJ competitions at some point since I think that opens up a lot of colab opportunities. Also, why no Treeshield Knott??? On a side note, would it be possible for you to do a video on something like "Epics/Rares worth keeping multiple copies of"? I personally have a bunch of duplicate Epics I would love to somehow get rid of to free up vault space, but not sure which ones you would recommend holding onto maybe an extra copy or two of. Also, better to use for skill upgrades vs. 4 star chickens when getting rid of extras (I'm personally a collector so like the idea of keeping at least one copy of each).

The number of times I have pulled Master Butcher and just used him for food. Wow, new respect.

Noooo you forgot kael just because of the damage he can do and the debuffs that SHRED enemies even when he's not actively attacking. Warpriest from the sacred order is dope AF too. She's a tank with the right artifacts and she also heals amazingly. She only has one attack skill but her damage is insane for one hit. Mother superior is in the same faction and she has a good shield buff and continuous heal buff, she also heals a champion ALOT with one of her skills. Galek is slept on because when he's max he does just as much damage as kael basically. I went up against a fully max Galek and kael in arena and got absolutely DESTROYED. That's when I started leveling him up lol

Forgot his name but there was a void ogre with revive and heal that stays alive before you get scyl

I have yet to use Pain Keeper in an unkillable Clan Boss team... she's been much more useful in dungeons and Faction Wars.

Fellhound is a really nice rare. Possibly my favorite rare and I put him in a few areas early game but will always be campaign farming. FK like Ash said but I also use him early Arena since he can nuke with that A1. Fellhound can be a nice addition to FW until you get someone better too.

I had to chuckle about Coldheart. I've wanted her forever, but Dark Elf void champs have just not been "in the cards", so to speak. Ironically, I have every DE rare (including Harvester and Retainer), except for [drumroll] Coldheart, Paragon, Eviscerator, and Pain Keeper LoL. Talk about $#!+ luck.

I like when the spotlight moves towards lower tier champs and not everything is about Legendaries or even Epics. There should be more Uncommon champion in the game which can be useful throughout the game (not only early) like Armiger, Shieldguard or Zephyr Sniper.

I hate Painkepper in the dungeon waves. She slows you down so much.

So pretty much screwed as a new f2p charector who never was given the ufc girl that i was supposed to get from the link sign up. Not gunna lie the shards feel kind of rigged, you only get 1-2 new heroes every 30 or so. I noticed though that the more diffrent heroes you got in the index allows you to get better heroes from the shards, it seems locked behind index progression but that also means that i should start getting at least one decent hero later on i imagine.
