@@hon3stly_z615 I expected him to have some cool plottwist story for an example that he would be a Kurta that got captured when the massacre happened but he was too young to remember that and they would make him join the troupe and Kurapika never knew about that because phantom troupe changed how he looks. That would we a cool plottwist

Honestly I wouldn't be mad if the phantom troupe got their own anime, I mean everyone who watched Hunter would know how it ends but still, kalluto would've even got more screen time, seeing him going the Troup and all that.

I love how on the surface Shalnark acts so friendly with his friends and seems to care for them but really he keeps them at a distance and is kinda sociopathic Meanwhile Machi is cold and distant yet she actually cares for each member

They all care for eachother in their own way. Shalnark and chrollo and Franklin were bestfriends when they were kids. Machi, uvo and nobunaga were kind of their bullies/rivals. Feitan and sphinks were 2 menace buddies that teased all the other kids

@@cheechunlimited yeah, in the last few chapters, you see the phantom troupe members in their younger years, and at that time while they were somewhat friends with each other, they also had their own lifestyle, divided into 2 groups, and each one taking what they like whether friends or foes owned them or not

@@Marrianno wait but isn't that a good thing that the fact that the characters' designs are diverse and not just the same face and body type? I mean yeah like the original comment said shalnark do look like he's from a completely different anime when compared to all the other spiders but imo I think it's mainly because of his personality. His design isn't completely different to the point It doesn't resemble hxh's artstyle.

Meruem looks like a Dragonball character, Pokkle looks like he’s from Dragon Quest, Uvo reminds me a lot of either Jojo or Broly, that one butler that asked Alluka for a million dollars looks straight out of Junji Ito, and Beans is on another level of his own

ndndnd i didn't expect to get a confession here haha, i am flattered 💖 also i orginally made this so people would have a source to easily make shalnark edits (i personally had a hard time finding many shalnark clips on youtube) hence why I used the dub version, subtitles wouldve been harder to work with, so i probs won't make a japanese version 💔💔 thank you for your comment!!
