I’m not gonna lie, I thought they would be fighting relegation, I thought they’d be like 19th right now before the season had started. The fact that we could see Sheffield United play in the champions league is just unbelievable! A really class team.

Sometimes I forget just how bloody magic this season has felt, and then I watch a video like this! The arsenal and Chelsea matches are two of my faves, as well as man city away and Liverpool at home- matches that made me realise just how achievable Europa or even champions League football are.

Mousset what a player he was it’s sad to see how good we was then compare to now 😢 if the fans were not forced out of stadiums cause of lockdown we would of been able to get Europe in my opinion and I think we could of stayed a mid table team in the premier league for example someone like Brighton what a season we had an even though I’m here for the highs and lows I’m a blade til I die

Goal of the season so far? What do we recon?

We've got to get more goals this season. We either need to bring in a striker or make some adjustments to how we attack. We are dangerous when crossing - doesn't matter if it's in the air or along the ground, most of our goals came from one or the other format. On the assumption that we don't sign a striker, we need to see the following happen. McBurnie - needs to stay in the box more. He's a threat from crosses and good at sweeping up loose balls. Mousset - needs to shoot more. Takes too many touches and seems undecided whether to shoot or pass. Take shots - fellow striker will be there to sweep up any rebounds. Sharp - needs more game time. Even if not being used from the start, needs to be involved in every game for the energy he brings and to take advantage of sloppy play in the box. McGoldrick - love the industry, but goals are not going to flow from this guy. Callum Robinson - another loan? He's not a striker. If we played a front 3, he'd be a decent option on the wing, but since we don't I don't see a place for him. Fleck/Berge - show what we've seen in pre-season - use the channels between the full backs and center backs to drive forward and either shoot or cut the ball into the middle. Lundstram - use the old "Lampard" way of arriving late with pile-driving shots. We have goals in us - and in pre-season games I've seen several different attacking techniques being used, so it appears to be something we're working on. Did we miss the boat on trying to get Callum Wilson? For 20 million, we should have taken a shot at him.
