The worst skill to the best skill, but what are your favorites? berserker? overkill? sneaky bastard? low blow? iron man??? Tell me your list after I've told you mine!
Please please please understand, your list ain't gonna be the same as mine but I did try to make the list an overseeing list, not just concentrating on what I use in my best Payday 2 builds... I looked at the skills and tried to see their worth compared to the others.

It's weird how so many of these perks feel like "This one is great for basic but the Ace isn't worth it" or "The basic is nearly worthless but the Ace is good." Thankfully there aren't too many where "Both basic and Ace aren't worth it" (albeit definitely present) but crazy to see a similar volume of "Both Basic and Ace is good."

Yah and half the time you’re just acing whatever to get to the top tier because it’s the most point efficient way to get there, you wouldn’t even take it if you had the choice lol. For example, inner pockets aced/parkour aced for sneaky bastard basic…. I don’t take either aced unless I need the extra 10 dodge on my build

@@shootingstardust97 Why would u need that many body bags on Day1? the only gangsters moving around are those outsides and them u take out last. The only gangster i tend to bag just from habit are the 1 in the open garage as he can sometimes be seen by an outside gangster.

Lock n load aced actually helps with any weapon in auto fire mode-this means the izhma and grimms with auto fire will get the faster reload with lock n load.

Honestly forced friendship is underrated you get more ties which is a must have for solo stealth players and it is applicable in loud because now you dont have to take cops as hostages and thus can have jokers ans civ hostages for trading I rest my case

I got Civs in my top 5 most killed enemy type. I was so bad when I first started, I once even the hardass General Mcbadass join a game and yell at me for 5 minutes for killing every civ in the Bank Heist: Gold because I wanted to solo it.

somehow I wish there was a skill point that lets you carry 2 loot bags. one for each shoulder and some penalties:huge speed reduction, high conceal and reduced throw distance

Buzzer or electrical brass knuckles, maybe the kunai if you are running crits

Ice pick for concealed max damage, katana for faster, less concealed max damage, weapon butt for best spam (breaking jewelry cases), electrical brass knuckles for spammable stun, buzzer for charged stun. For highest and most concealed spammed knockdown I believe the leather sap comes first with 200 knockdown uncharged. Everything else? A slightly worse skin at best and wasted hard drive space at worst.

@@cdgonepotatoes4219 if concealment isn't what you are looking for the mace has more range than the leather sap Edit: if you wanna be technical you dont get much use out of your melee in higher difficulty that's why most use stunning weapons ie tasers and poison

The ammo efficiency skill for snipers is super useful it makes you less reliant on ammo pickups especially when using higher damage snipers with low ammo pickup. Found it even more useful than the fully loaded skill in some cases since I get ammo back without even going out in the open just to grab ammo when I can just keep picking off heads and get ammo back that way. Still situational though since it only really shines when using a sniper rifle.

Half the time I forget the fugitive skill trees exist. I feel like the four 10% skill point reductions in the infamy tree for Fugitive should stack and then I'd be more likely to use them.

have they changed the drill melee reset chance? I know when I played last years ago, it only applied when the drill was placed, not each time it broke. so when it did trigger, resetting was easy, but it didnt trigger very often since there are only so many drills your using in a mission

Bullseye aced is super good for the Anarchist + Frenzy + Iron Man build in my opinion. Its a perk to literally regen health with kills. But 20 armor per headshot is a big seller for me.

Agreed mate, I would say though that the aced version isn’t really any better than the basic version for bullseye. The extra you get makes no difference on high difficulties and is a lot of points!

Here’s a interesting series idea, after finishing all perk decks build, you could make some “fun build”. They are probably mostly not very viable on higher difficulty but can either be a lot of fun, or is a reference towards some character (like the TF2 heavy and doom guy etc).

In defence of ammo efficency, if you use a ar that 2 shot headshots the swat on ds its pretty freaking good. But as that is subjective to a very few weapons yah its not the best but damn i get MY personal use out of it.

I actually used 6 turrets all with AP rounds mixed with ammo specialist and gambler on death wish, I used a JP36 and Jackets piece. I locked down rooms and areas for days, but running around for ammo and making sure they stay up while doing objectives can be, taxing.

my favourite skill will always be bloodthirst because it just makes messing around with friends or by yourself so much more fun as up to mayhem difficulty you can one shot melee green and black dozers (im on console so it might be different for pc users)

Hey b33croft I need advise from a good player, so my primary is the M-16 and even with fully loaded the max ammo is still 113, but I’m quite bad at staying at full health (even though I wear the improved combined tactical vest🤦♂️) also I have no friends to play with. I was just wondering if I should finish out my ammo specialist tree and get 2 ammo bags or blow some more on my medic tree and get 2 doctor bags.(or just have one them🤷♂️)

To me it depends on the perk deck you are running. Also some weapons have terrible ammo pick up and will need fully loaded aced to be even remotely viable

7:31 I'm not sure if this was actually the case two years ago, but at least currently, this is not how Unseen Strike works. You do not lose your crits upon taking damage; in fact, you don't even get crits UNTIL you take damage. The game doesn't even start the 4-second timer until you've taken damage. On the bright side, you get the 6 or 18 seconds of crits guaranteed even if you take damage during that duration, and these crits are unaffected by concealment. This creates a sort of dance where you sometimes deliberately peek out to take a couple hits, duck in cover to proc the crits, and then go to town with any guns you want. And, happy coincidence, Stoic's auto heal is ALSO on a 4-second timer, so there's some synergy!

For marksman and other sniper role skills the only conseveable reason I can see them applying to weapons other than snipers is because they were put in the wrong weapon category (aka the gallant rifle and no other weapon so why does it even bother to have smgs included because I am genuinely stumped)

The description for unseen strike is wrong. You get 6 seconds of uninterrupted crits after not getting hit for 4 seconds. Getting hit during those 4 seconds restarts the 4 seconds.

On dsod really the only thing turrets are good for is putting them them into cover so you'll have a place to retreat to. Because not usually many enemies wamder into some cover rooms

I know this video is 5 months old by now, but on the off chance someone happens to be watching this now, unseen strike no longer cancels the effect upon taking damage. once you avoid damage for 4 seconds, you earn the 6/18 second buff for the entire duration regardless of how many times you get shot. doesn't really bump it up too many tiers imo, but does allow you to _finally_ get some decent crits using an armor build tuna sandwich

Ngl, I LOVE bloodthirst in my sniper builds, it helps in a pinch and I always am getting enough kills with Graze for it's full potential!

Yeah I always ran counterstrike. hell i still do just for fun. its gotten to the point where i just know when a kick is coming and i can respond with counter at the last moment.

85 is pretty good for stealth. Definitely fits the 85 spot, as it's only useful if you're doing a stealth heist like jewellery store or bank heist, something like Shadow Raid, it's worthless.

Akimbo krinkovs are decent, not really into pistols, but I will be researching and trying them all!
