Electro got there because in the tasm 2 movie when gwen comes to help peter when he doesnt want her to after escapes from the web sticking her to the car she shouts "PETER let me help you" and then we cut to a scene where electro gets up (after being knocked down).

Not gonna lie, towards the end of No way home, I love how electro says “sup Pete” in such an intimating yet cool way. You get the chance to actually feel the power and how much energy he has access to with the arc reactor

When the 3 of them hugged I really felt like it was more than just a scene in a movie.

I actually loved Spider Man 3. Even though Venom was mishandled, the final battle was great and I also thought it had some good action.

Spider-Man 2002 will always be number 1 in my eyes.

For me into the spiderverse is ranked first with no way home second and Spiderman 2 third. I absolutely adored spiderverse, at the point in time when it came out I had honestly given up on cinema. I was sick of being disappointed by the movies and tv shows coming out and my love for cinema was completely burnt out. Then spiderverse came and set off an inferno in my soul. I went back to being a child being absolutely excited and immersed into every moment of the story. It made me genuinely cry and laugh the hardest I had in years from a film. The visuals were beyond gorgeous, the score was phenomenal, the casting was stellar and above all the story was compelling and had a nice take on something we're all very familiar with (+ the comedy was hilarious imo). I rewatched it 3 times within the first 2 weeks of it coming out and I'm someone who doesn't rewatch things often (at least not within such a short time frame) No way home was another big surprise for me, I like spiderman movies and I like quite a few MCU movies but to me they're just like any other action movie but with a bigger budget so I came in knowing I would enjoy but not this much. I was not planning to watch this in cinema and was originally gonna watch it online a few months later once it would be out but boy am I glad I impulsively went to see it. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, I felt all of the emotions Tom's peter was portraying, was gobsmacked by the cameos and was genuinely so invested into the movie from start to finish. I'm a big fan of comedy so I was practically dying at the hero's gossip scene while waiting for the villains to show up (especially the back cracking scene with our beloved previous spidermans). There was the perfect balance of nostalgia and original story. Most of all I was so happy for Andrew's Peter finally getting the justice he deserved and the closure his character deserved after being able to save MJ. This is definitely within my top 3 favorite MCU films and live action films in general. And like Spiderverse I went to rewatch it in the cinema a second time a few days later. The only thing not letting it be 1st on my list is that Into the spiderverse was just a grade better imo, this could be biased tho since I'm a sucker for animation and prefer animation over live action anyday (there is just more creative freedom to bring things to life that aren't possible in live action). Also I wasn't too much of a fan of how strange was handled, there were a few times when I was scratching my head on why some decisions for his character was made. It was also very obvious that he was mainly only there for the set up and conclusion, so his presence felt rather excluded from the real meat n potatoes of the plot. The reason why Spiderman 2 is third is mainly because I don't have as much of an attachment to it or it's characters. It is an amazing movies that ticks all the right boxes but other that some absolutely iconic scenes I don't have a big place for it in my heart. I really felt nothing for Peter and MJ's relationship and the whole _MJ got a new boo a short while after the break up, rebounding with this rich successful bloc and got engaged to immediately_ plot point managed to both rubbed me the wrong way and seem completely unbelievable at the same time. Actually I just felt nothing for Kristen Dunst's MJ in general (It's not really the actress's fault, that MJ is just written with as much substance as a blank A5). However I loved Doc Oc and the build up with Harry + the way Aunt May did not forgive Peter right away. It was a completely realistic reaction and It just bulldozed my heart. The train scene was so perfect, I don't think any other spiderman can remake that scene with the same impact. Spiderman 2 is just unapologetically a great movie and just a great experience overall but it doesn't beat out the other 2 for me. Spiderman 2's MJ holds it back for me and Into the Spiderverse is just so overwhelmingly perfect that no live action can hope to compete, No way home is in the comfortable middle ground. The other spidermans for me are ranked much the same. While I love Andrew Garfield's spideman and while I love Emma Stone's Gwen the story itself did not do either of their character's justice. And while I do love Tom's Peter in homecoming, like Tobey's Spiderman 1 more. Mainly because I don't really like mysterio's character, for one not only is his motivations weak but as a character (especially in the MCU) he is an extremely forgettable villain. If not for that cliffhanger and bombshell dropped at the end of homecoming I would've forgot about him within the week. Defoe's Green Goblin however is freaking iconic and is impossible to replace. Spiderman 3 is Spiderman 3, no more needs to be said. This ended up being an essay smh (sorry in advance for spelling and grammatical errors)

I kind of get the lizard having a weird motive to turn every other human into lizards. The lizard DNA took over so much that he lost his humanity and he was more lizard than human. He was literally a talking lizard who had a high intellect. However, I still don't think him not having the other arm was enough like you said.

Sony really done messed up forcing Raimi to use Venom for Spider-Man 3. When Sam Raimi, a director who specializes in Horror genre says he doesn't wanna use Venom (a character perfect for a horror movie) and saved it for the next, you listen.

I just realized something about TASM and TASM 2. The fact that it wouldn't have gone well if anyone other than Peter had been bitten by the spider since it was his dad's DNA could very quickly lead back to him if anyone tried to figure it out. If anything it makes more sense to use Normon Osborn or Dr. Connor's DNA considering they were trying to cure Normon and regrow Dr. Connor's arm. In my opinion it seems kind of stretched a bit too thin, especially since there are other spider people in the comics and of course Into the Spider-Verse. It could work if nobody else on the planet knew that it was his dad's DNA, but considering that Peter was able to figure it out, other people probably do know, and at that point wearing a mask does basically nothing. All it would take is someone curious with an internet connection, more than two brain cells, and the ability to put two and two together, as well as possibly a bit of insight into Oscorp (former or current employee, perhaps?). And if you go, "well, how would they know that the spider bite is what gave him his powers?", that's why I mentioned the insight into Oscorp, because if they know anything about cross species genetics it wouldn't be hard to figure out. That's just my two cents anyway.

I mainly prefer the Amazing Spider-Man movies. They may not be the best, but tasm 1 is my favorite because of Garfield's performance of a Peter that I spiritually connect with on some level, being an "Outsider" as Marc Webb put it. Tasm 2 doesn't live up as much, but I like it's more vibrant look and the rogues gallery (Plus the suit is much better) that make it severely underrated.

We honestly don't need tragedy from the very start coz we have to remember, this Peter parker is just a normal teenager, not a responsible adult like Raimi's (2 and 3). So giving him tragedy from the very start would be kind of be a cheaper copy of the raimi movies. So building up to it from Homecoming to the last two avengers, all the way to NWH, is the perfect adaptation in my book. And honestly, these movies came out when the MCU was in a bit of a darker tone with things like Civil War. So light-hearted movies are a nice change of pacing 3. I think Mysterio's motivation was pretty clear. He was a stark employee who didn't get his due credit and wants to change that. He wants to be seen, he wants to be noticed. And the scarier part is, he succeeded in it. Even after NWH, his presence is felt on Peter, and his fame in the world. So mysterio is a great villain in my book 4. STOP SHOWING SPIDER BITE SCENES, ITS CREEPY AS HELL (joke but it really is creepy af)
