To think the game started to be nintendo characters only, now it has many different characters from many game companies and genre... Truly this is the greatest crossover that ever existed. I am happy to be able to see this happen

Came back a day after Sora was revealed to relive some memories. Good times. I remember being there to see the new reveals for Brawl and I've been excited for new challenger reveals since then. With the last fighter of Ultimate revealed, it truly does feel like the end of an era, but it's amazing to see just how much this team has done all these years and how far this series has come. This is one of, if not the greatest, crossovers ever. Thank you Sakurai and thank you Smash Team.

From Super Smash Bros Brawl onwards I remember all of these trailers... It is crazy how after 22 years of character reveals Smash's history is somehow over. And I can't be happier with Sora being the last one (we have been asking for him to be in Smash for years and I almost thought it would never happen). Nothing else to say except thank you, Sakurai. Long live Smash Bros!

Little did I know when I bought the first game for my N64 so many, many years ago that I would be playing variations of this game for decades.

Megaman's is far and away the best one. It'd been 3 years since Megaman 10, Megaman Legends 3 was cancelled, Megaman Universe was cancelled, he was excluded from Marvel Vs Capcom 3, Bad Box Art Megaman in Street Fighter X Tekken, and Inafune had left which made any future for the Blue Bomber seem so bleak. And then that helmet *blipped* on and I've never seen the internet so excited for not only a Smash inclusion, but to hear that Megaman was getting some proper exposure as well. It's not the most impressive trailer (I'd probably give that to Sephiroth or Banjo), but it was such a full package of hype and relief

Super Smash Bros. is such a legendary series, it's incredible. It is by far the biggest crossover event ever, featuring characters from all across gaming, plus stages, music, costumes, etc. to represent even more. There are literally hundreds of games represented through Smash in some small way, and I don't think any other crossover will ever top it.

Can we just acknowledge how every smash reveal song absolutely slaps. Also people hated sm4sh but it gave us some top tier characters, like Rockman, wii fit and the Mac.

Smash will always be a part of my life. Despite not being there for 64 and Melee I still have fond memories of watching my dad try desperately to play as Link in Brawl and pass the Wii remote to me and going to my friend's house to see what character will go into Smash 4. Every part of this series is so special to me and encapsulates my love for Nintendo and gaming in general. I hope that if we do get another Smash after Ultimate in a few years that the kids in future generations can develop a similar love for these characters as much as we did. Thank you Sakurai for all that you have done for the Smash franchise and gaming in general as well as everyone who has stuck by Nintendo and the community even in their worst moments.

Watching this whole video made me cry because I've been playing Smash since 4th grade. I still remember playing my first Smash game, Brawl all those years ago. Now I am 23 just graduate college. I just witness my whole childhood/adolescents/teenage/college life flash before my eyes. I'm crying with happiness. Having been with Smash since the beginning, this was quite the ride. This was incredibly nostalgic for me, and it's amazing to watch this game go from just 12 characters from a handful of console exclusive franchises to a series that has reps from across 3 decades of games and multiple competing companies from all around the world. It's an experience walking through each game, remembering all the times I played each one over the years. Thanks for making this video. It was wonderful to reminisce.

I’m hoping to find one that shows every time a character is shown in smash for the first time. (So first the ones who didn’t have trailers getting whatever reveal they got even if it was mediocre). But I do get that that’s probably harder to make.

It's so weird how completely incredible Sonic was back in the day seeing as how he fits in so well, if there were only one 3rd party rep to stay it'd probably be him.

Looking at this after the end of Smash Brothers really makes me feel nostalgic and sad. Even though I wasn't there for the very beginning, the excitement and wonder all who were there felt hits me in a different way. Thank you Sakurai for filling my childhood with such a wonderful game.

Wonderful work here. I kind of consider the original N64 Smash commercial to be the first reveal for game series and some of the characters. Then the 64 game intro for the rest within the 64 game if hidden then revealed.

Seriously, NOTHING will ever surpass Smash Ultimate. Having more than 80 fighters from many iconic game franchises is literally a dream come true, and we all should thank Sakurai for sacrificing himself so we could have that dream (even if your most wanted didn't get in, you have to admit that this roster is actually impressive). Hope the man is enjoying his vacation, he and his team seriously deserve it.
