Out of excuses (for not buying the Glassbox) is right! I abandoned the purchase of a Speedy 3861 Sapphire Sandwich after seeing this one in the flesh at my local boutique this past Sunday. I have not stopped wearing this stunning piece since buying it on the spot. Plus, I saved a bit of cash to boot. ZERO regrets. This reference is AMAZING save for the bracelet. No micro-adjust is limiting and they could have done better on the bracelet design/execution. While I think that this dial, WR of 10 ATM, and the fact that it's self-winding offsets most of missing out on the 3861's heritage and cool factor, I will say that the Speedy's bracelet and movement finishing/execution are superlative.

Wow! A day when I comment that new TH novelties are all absolutely stunning has come. Congratz to TH. Indeed a very handsome collection and that Monaco is beyond exciting. After Rolex novelties 2024 these become even more, like 2x-10x, time more exciting.

Your videos are the most entertaining in the watch video world. You use movement (you moving through space), walking into buildings, serving as a bar tender (of watches), walking around between watch displays, etc. I love it!

BTW Tag was never on my radar but it has completely caught my attention this year. Seems they really revived the brand with such superb selections and modern design / manufacturing.

@saphna. The TAG glassbox is £5600, the Vulcain is £2250. They look almost identical. What % of people want to spend £5k on a watch ?

Good video overall but it would have been nice if you would have kept the Carrera specs up for longer than, literally, two seconds. It's impossible to read all of that information in such a short amount of time. If it's worth including in the video, it's worth making it readable. And before any of you say "you could just paused the video," yes, I know that, but I shouldn't have to.

Wasn't a fan of the skipper in steel, but in rose gold it is starting to make sense to me. The panda glass box is fantastic, so classic. Honestly the Monaco does nothing for me.

Skipper RG is a sleeper for watch of the fair, and must be seen in the metal.

Amazing. That Monaco. So glad to see movement legend, Carole Forestier Kasapi helming TAG Heuer's movements. Just shows how serious the brand is about proper watchmaking. I was lucky enough to ask Carole on a private online preview of the Only Watch Split-second Monaco last year; "how long till we see a regular production split-second chronograph?" She told me it may take years to make it mass market but making it in limited numbers was already possible. I guess, this is the reason these Monacos are limited and priced accordingly. Well done TAG Heuer.

That Monaco is a gorgeous thing.....but 225 large to buy one? I guess somebody with coin will go there! As long as they can get rid of their unjustified rep (especially online) they will be great once again. I'm a 2 x TAG owner/fan (still got them both), always will be. I just want a superdiver..

That's fine, plenty to choose from now - the transparent, open worked nature of the Monaco is a different aesthetic - the point is with a movement this good, you want to show it - Andrew

What happened , no more prices ? Afraid people are going to shun them due to the ridiculous pricing the Swiss watch manufacturers have been dishing out ? I bet my pinky these are all going to be overpriced . I do like the Glassbox Carreras , 40 mm would have been better in my opinion and maybe 05-1 mm thinner . Don’t like the look of the split second Monacos but kudos to the watchmaking and refining the overall package .
