@@CydonianKnights11 I don't think Sonic is a bigger icon than Pokémon, it's just that the better marketing campaign of all time, was creating a backlash and then changing the appearance of the character to make everyone go see the movie, and the expectations were so low, that people actually enjoyed what they saw.

I actually quite enjoyed Sonic the Hedgehog. The character chemistry between Marsden, Schwartz, and Carrey was so on point. And you really FEEL for this poor hedgehog a few times. I can't wait for a sequel which is weird cause usually I'm just so anxious for sequels but here....dude ONE character reveal blows the door WIDE open for this film franchise. Just...Don't screw this up Paramount.
