Honestly, at this point the scariest mod Doni could do is one that makes an NPC Doni just randomly pop up in front of them. Then have it either give them random good stuff, or just have it say "did you find it yet?" then disappear. Watch them all go insane trying to find out what the troll is.

Your bad luck in the beginning actually made the video better, it lured Lynix into a false sense of security, made him think that he was on top of the world - and then full blown super terrifying right at the end.
