When it's a song like Like Ooh Ah or More and More where she got a dance break moment, it's understandable because she got her time to shine differently (she IS the main dancer) but like, Feel Special and Alcohol Free, poor Momo

@@ameliarose47 this might be an unpopular opinion, but i do think that momo has some of the better distributed lines in the twice title tracks. not saying she has a lot obviously, but she mostly gets really memorable parts. even in eras where she has the least lines like M&M or ICSM she still shines. i feel like the members who are the most overlooked linewise are either Jeongyeon, Dahyun and Tzuyu. Jeongyeon because she is literally treated like a sub vocalist, Dahyun because she barely gets real singing lines in title tracks and Tzuyu because she always feels like an afterthought, Tzuyu rarely get parts that stand out to me, its always a prechorus with two extra lines thrown in. Chaeyoung used to be in this group, but as of recently she is finally being treated right on both title tracks and bsides.

But Jeongyeon is a terrible vocalist, so….

@@Midzyoncearmyblinkneverland girl are you deaf... Shes a better vocalist than nayeon from a technical standpoint.... She is incredibly stable and supported with good technique. She is absolutely better than the other 6 members, which is why she is part of the vocal line.

Yeah same with Momo in Feel Special, her and Tzuyu have the exact same lines, its just that Momo sang them faster than Tzuyu.

@@cadavison ehh not really, raps focus on flow and rhymes to deliver a certain vibe to the song. It depends, because some of twines raps are just talking or singing really fast while some like more and more are more similar to actual raps.

even momo's the sub rapper of the group she is still a rapper and deserves more rap parts (Also because sub rappers from other groups, like Jhope or Yeri, get a lot of rap parts) I would prefer her to sing less (and giving her singing lines to Jeongyeon) and to rap more

Ik nayeon is fotg and center but it makes no sense how she gets like 2 times jeongyeons lines while both being lead vocalist, jeongyeon even has the better technique/range. And saying her voice doesn’t fit the cute concept is wrong cause jeong did great in the cheer up and likey part switch

@@kittenluver4lyfe Well, the real but sad truth is that their primary leader(ish) for assigning them lines doesn't even view Jeongyeon as a lead vocalist. He did an interview/video explaining his process of assigning what members to what parts, and what makes the "Twice sound", where he only credited Nayeon and Jihyo as "main vocalists". In every single video clip where he's with the members, Jeongyeon also looks really uncomfortable and closed off, which is the polar opposite from how she normally interacts with all their staff, leaders, co-workers, etc. :/ So Jeongyeon is given the bare minimum (and sometimes not even that, since there's multiple other songs in which she has the least lines, despite her official position) solely because some asshat doesn't like her and her talented voice. I can't say if he still works with them though.. The video/interview received a whole lot of negative backlash from Onces pointing out the mistreatment of Jeongyeon, so I don't know if Jyp changed his position. I just know the video came out during Jeongs hiatus.

Jeongyeon on the other hand is one of the best vocalists in Twice but constantly gets less lines than Nayeon (who is also lead vocalist)

I know! I think some onces need to realize that Momo having the least amount of lines isnt a bad thing. She’s honestly the best dancer in twice, and the amount of dance breaks she gets definitely makes up for her lack of lines. I just wish onces would start seeing Momo’s strengths instead of focusing on what she doesnt have. Don’t get me wrong, she’s an amazing vocalist, but I just feel like we’re taking her dance breaks for granted.

Nako gets a decent amount tho, and she has songs where she shines like Hey Bae Like It, Ayayaya, Slow Journey, etc. Hyewon on the other hand was last in almost every single song.

Why would you put the most skilled vocalists at the bottom? Your gonna get an inaudible encore.

Twice are one of the biggest girl groups on the entire planet... obviously what they are doing works, and works very well. Why would you mess with it and start giving the best singers the least lines? It would not be good for their career, at all.
