That is true for the games as it’s used more as a title or a convenience for the Digimon that go further beyond Mega. But there are 6 Digimon that are canonically Super Ultimates for good reasons and truly display the full power of a Super Ultimate/ Ultra. Just know Digimon made by fusion/ DNA digivolution don’t count.

Ultra's only officially mentioned... 3 times if I remember. Once in Armageddemon's reference book DESCRIPTION (mentioned as a 'Super Ultimate'), once in Arcadiamon's final form's name, and once in Daemon's Gattai with Arcadiamon Super Ultimate to become "Daemon Super Ultimate". The level does technically exist, based on the latter 2 cases where the forms are basically acknowledged as "Super Ultimate"s. HOWEVER: Arcadiamon isn't listed above its rookie (Pink) form in the reference book. Daemon Super-Ultimate isn't listed either. But both do see coverage in media. This is mystifying as despite pink Arcadiamon being there, the lower and higher forms both have zero presence in the reference book. Probably because if they acknowledged the Mega, they'd need to acknowledge the Super Ultimate. Armageddemon's officially listed as a Mega, BUT, in the exact words used as the start of its intro: "A super-ultimate Digimon that was born by mutating a large number of Diaboromon's childhood fusions." The phrase has seen use afterwords, so it's hard to tell if they themselves don't know what's a Super-Ultimate despite 20 years passing, or if they're hesitant to admit it exists because then fans would clamor for all the digivolutions to end in Super Ultimates, which are thus far *reality destroying*.

That’s why for the games I’ll let it pass because this the new move they want to pull with them. But canonically Omnimon and all fusions are Mega Levels. Only canonical Ultras are Arkadimon Ultra, Daemon Ultra, UlforceV-dramon Future Mode, Chronomon Holy Mode, Chronomon Destoyer Mode, and Armageddemon. Armageddemon is still questionable cause I’m pretty sure it’s suppose to be a Mega too but it does straight up state it’s a Super Ultimate in its info so I guess it is? XD

@@icecontrol1 yes in other canon like rearise burst mode are ultra level. Card game conon they have rafflesmon as a mega level 6 digimon. Chaos version of digimon in other games like chaosdramon are further evolution of megas another game are megas. Game conon are different than anime conon. Digimon cyber sleuths many digimon don't have a conon evolution line many share the same evolution form.

Not really. Ultra is the level above Mega, nothing less nothing more. It can be attained by a regular Mega evolving (Armageddemon), by the fusion between 2 Megas (at least) (Omegamon, Chaosmon, Examon) or by the use of a specific item (Arcadiamon SU, UlForceVeedramon FM). There no such thing as « game mechanic ».

@@EmpereurTom Omegamon DRB doesn't call him "Ultra", Examon BRB doesn't call him Ultra, nor chaosmon. The only that have it from these is armaggemon, and it is only called that in the body of the text. In his level tag it still is a mega.

Heck, according to the DRB, Arcadiamon Ultra is a Mega-Level. Isn’t his name explicit enough ? Cyber-Sleuth call Omegamon an Ultra, ReArise call him an Ultra, Next Order call him an Ultra and even the Card Game call him a Level 7. Almost every media recognizing the existence of the Super-Ultimate Level (unlike the DRB) consider Omegamon to be one of them. Same thing for Examon and Chaosmon.

Danm, I don' remember if they even called future mode anything more than a mode change. Cybersleuth also says Belphemon RM is a ultra, when is just a mode change . The power growth of a super ultimate digimon is way more than a mode change, way more than a jogress of two common megas. Ogudomon isn't called a ultra even with its all its power, neither Apokaly. And it has nothing to do with power, your example even prove it since Ogudomon is clearly stronger than Arcadiamon Ultra and Daemon Ultra. Every incarnations of Omegamon others than the one from V-Tamer as well, Zeromaru himself admit that RK Omegamon is stronger than him, and Omegamon Alter-B from Next Order and Adventure 2020 Omegamon are even more powerful. In the end, Omegamon, Examon and Chaosmon are officially and canonically Super-Ultimate/Ultra Level.

Super Ultimate/Ultra is a fairly arbitrary category that's only used occasionally. Digimon considered Super Ultimate are only considered as such due to being specifically labeled so in at least one appearance. Functionally there is no distinction between the two and a Super Ultimate from one series/game/whatever might be just Ultimate in another. VictoryGreymon and ZeedGarurumon have never appeared as Super Ultimate so, they're just Ultimate.

They're called side digivolution, so it was still the same level as wargreymon n metalgarurumon respectively, tho' they needed that form to digivolve hence the name "side digivolution"

Imperialdramon PM and Millenniummon are Ultra. Chaosdramon X is just Mega. The closest thing to a Mega 2 Level would be the Burst Mode from Savers.

ZeedMillenniummon is the pure data form which had to be either held by a physical body, Millenniummon or by the dark crystal, Moonmillenniummon. Over all, that is a digital entity of destruction. But you could say his other forms are just host at Mega or higher. Ultimate Chaos is a ultra level digimon form for the four digimon that came before it.

Examon may have the most data and power reserves, but Alphamon is considered the top dog in the bunch. His Alpha in force literally allows him to go through multiple battles in a time deus ex machina way to exploit and find out all the data and info about his/her opponent before even actually starting the battle like a compelling future-sight technique. Also, Ouryuken mode is probably the most powerful weapon mode of the royal knights, even more than Caledfwlch and Ambrosius of Examon. If you wanna go to type, Data types are stronger against Alphamon since he/she is a vaccine type, but that is up for debate.

Yes in games like Cyber Sleuth and Digimon world 2, attributes are used like a wheel to balance out each digimon. Vaccine>Virus, Data>Vaccine, Virus>Data. They do not mean anything in the anime. We've seen digimon like Ogremon and the entire Guilmon line serve the side of good but are not evil digimon necessarily. Now onto who is the strongest knight. Examon would definately be up there as one of the strongest digimon. It is arguably the strongest Dragon digimon, hence why in its bio it is referred to as "Dragon Emperor". The only other Dragon digimon at his level or remotely close are few and far between. However, be that as it may, Alphamon and its OM form literally have a deus ex machina ability that allows them to literally rewind time but also move faster than most can comprehend where they only according to Alphamon's bio can see the final blow. Simply put, Examon is incredibly powerful but Alphamon's power is tremendous and too fast. And that's just his base form. OM basically has all the same abilities plus its axeblade that can wipe out anything that is "above average".

Guipa_ nah I’m talking exactly about Blitzgreymon and Cressgarurumon since in the new digivice in Japan they revealed a lot of stuff that happened in the show before it happened. Like the new Devimon form, another Omegamon, Peagasusmon, and then Blitzgreymon and Cressgarurumon and more. TheDigiKnow did a video on it before (his episode 28 review) and the idea is that maybe they’ll make it after War Greymon and Metal Garurumon since everyone is getting their megas/ultimates but Tai and Matt have to get something above since they’re the main protag and rival duo.

If omni x hits omni mm with all delete, it is his win. However omni mm defeated ordinemon with a gigantic sweep of his blade so he is better at range. Overall I think merciful mode is stronger in most cases

Adding to that, omni x has the omega in force which gives him unlimited stamina with clairvoyance ability so if he plan and strategies the battle while drawing out the fight, he may find an opening to exploit against omni mm. This inforce seems to be exclusive to omni x, but the xross wars seems to show that regular omni has the ability, but hypothetically if omni mm doesn't have it, it may be possible to bypass omni x unlim stamina as he fought ordinemon which is apocalypmon reincarnation that has regen abilities. I don't recall ordinemon receiving any substantial injuries till omni mm but the fact that omni mm can kill ordinemon without procking the regen might imply he can bypass the omega inforce unlimited stamina if he gets a good hit in. Overall I think mm could beat x however x has the capability to win if he plays it smart.

@@bryanyap3888 Well if Merciful Mode is the next form for Omnimon then it would imply he still has the Omega Inforce. With that, combined with the fact that his form has the combined forms of 6 other megas, it becomes pretty clear that Merciful Mode would beat Omnimon X.

Alkebulan Is Home it seems very likely since the premium Bandai 2020 digivice had Omegamon Alter S in it which means that we’ll see BlitzGreymon and CressGarurumon. It also gives the series something to differentiate from the og series since it’s not the same Omegamon form. Although Merciful Mode would be cool.
