If you think about it, Prussia was able to unify Germany only because it was spared by Peter lll in 7 years war (for no good reason for Russia. Peter was such a simp he wrote letters to Frederick asking for prussian military medals). Later prussian unified Germany in WW1 caused so much damage and then sent Lenin from Switzerland, which destroyed Russian Empire. So a prussiaboo is responsible for the fall of empire.

Meh even if Russia had continued the war, I doubt prussia would have been completely dissolved as a state. Carthaginian peaces weren't really popular in Europe at that time. Most likely they would have had to cede some border territories to their neighbours.

It wasn't for no reason - maybe no good reason - but Peter grew up heavily antagonistic towards his mother, and as a result veered to interests which were basically the opposite of her own; shows the importance of actually being a good parent to your kids.

Russia actually wasnt preforming poorly in ww1 yes the great retreat was a bad situation but after that Russia did a faital blow to Osmans in battle of Erzican and Trabzond and Austria Hungary in Brusilov offensive if it hadn't been for February revolution Russia would have gotten to Warsaw as well 1917 Russia was holding the front very well battle of Marasesti as example and even gained some land battle of Zborov even the battle that Russia lost operation Albion Germany lost a lot of ships to capture an island it was internal problem that Russia had

Brusilove offensive ran out of steam and Russia was crushed when they tried an offensive in East Prussia. That was the end -Germans trashed Russian forces and the front line collapsed. Yes, Bolsheviks then made peace but, even without them, Russian position was unattainable. They lost that war.

@@mrvk39 Russian defeat in Tannberg happened before 1916 but Russia wasn't crushed by it despite hard battles of 1915 Russia choose to retreat thus saving its army from being surrounded and was able to stabilize the front by the end of the year Brusilov offensive could have been more successful if Evert chose to start his offensive in the north but despite that it was enough to destroy Austrian army Russia also had a quite successful Mitav operation at the beginning of 1917 if February revolution was unsuccessful the war would have ended by end of 1917 however despite what have happened it was a political defeat not militarily.

@@jackhardy3905 first on Brusilov front - he ran out of ammunition and out of enough troops trained by him to execute his maneuvers. He lost 500,000 in that offensive and he needed training that new recruits lacked (and most importantly junior officers that his strategy relied on to make crucial battle-time decisions). And Kerensky offensive in early 1917 was a disaster rivaling Tannenberg. ALL gains on that front and more were lost before the October Revolution. Russia lacked ammunition to continue fighting against Germany and it was German decision to shift focus away from that front because it was no longer a threat. So, both fronts were in shambles before the October Revolution. It was a military defeat as well.

13:20 Something similar happened with the Belgian expeditionary corps during ww1. Belgian soldiers were sent to fight alongside Russia in 1915 with armored cars. When the Russian Revolution happened they had to go back home going east, crossing all of Russia, China, the Pacific, the USA, the Atlantic and then back to Belgium. See this : en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgian_Expeditionary_Corps_in_Russia. It certainly would make a great movie.

I would like to recommend a concept for a new series you could do. The idea is that you take the place of a historical leader, and you choose what decisions to make as that historical leader based on what would be the most beneficial for the nation the historical leader you chose ruled over. The way you would go about doing this is you would base your decisions off of the knowledge you had at your disposal at the time. For example, you could do a video where you take the place of Louis XIV and you choose how you would expand the size, influence and power of France in the 17th and 18th centuries. Or you could take the place of Louis XV and decide how you could preserve the French empire in America and India. Perhaps you could even take the place of Louis XVI and decide how you could prevent the french revolution if you were in his position. A criticism you could levy at this idea is that it’s too similar to the series you’re already doing on “What if everything went perfectly for X”, but I disagree. Firstly, this series is about making decisions as a single person, not for an entire nation over the course of hundreds of years. Secondly, with your “What if everything went perfectly for X” series, you utilize the benefit of hindsight. With this series, you limit yourself to the knowledge of your chosen leader. You Don’t HAVE to do it this way, you could utilize the benefit of hindsight for this series too, but limiting yourself this way would help differentiate this series from your “What if everything went perfectly for X” series. You might as well try this idea on for a video and see how it performs. If it performs badly, you don’t have to continue it. But if it performs well, you could have another successful series on your hands. It is low risk, high reward. With how many historical leaders there are, the possibilities for this series are limitless! Some ideas for historical leaders to make videos on are Seleucus, Justinian, Louis the Pious, John I, Charles V, Phillip II of Spain, Charles XII, Peter III, Napoleon, Charles X, Napoleon III, Kaiser Wilhelm II, and so many more!

What always bugs me out is when Countries that have impressive geographical advantages and ease of access cheap traderoutes like France and UK are all teaming up on practically Locked out Russia that has to rely on freezing ports in the North or to our neighbours mercy to allow our ships through Bosporus and Dardanelles in Turkey and next in other choke points in the Mediterranean like Gibraltar and Suez to access global trade routes or on Baltic Sea routes with Danes controlling the choke points to exit it. Just because their massive empires (That occupied a half of the globe) were "afraid" of Russian influenced Balkans. And it's still continues to this day with every single country in NATO pissing their pants because of Russia. Thought it doesn't justify any war waged. By any country.

Yeah, our Imperial military success in definitely something to be proud of. And, if you examine these wars more closely, it was not only about quality of Russian forces at all, as some people think. At the beginning of the 19th century, for example, Russian military prestige was so high that the events of 1805-1807 were very shocking not just for the Russians but for their allies as well as Russia loosing a major war was something extraordinarily. Russian army back then was considered to be the best in Europe alongside Prussian.

11:45 The biggest mistake of the Russian Empire. Support a potential competitor, instead of destroying it, and gain a good ally in Hungary by holding out the rebels (But this is not a fact, but it would not be as strong as Austria-Hungary). Russia would have been able to capture Galicia and lodomerIa without any problems, and make All the Balkans its sphere of influence. This huge mistake destroyed Russia's status as a full-fledged great power in the future. Speculation: Most likely, Austria at the time of its collapse, perhaps when the Italians captured the Adriatic coast, and a war of independence would have begun in Bohemia, would have become a protectorate of Prussia, and in the future, would have become part of a single mega Germany. If everything had gone according to the scenario of the First World War, with Franco-Mega Germany, then most likely it would have been like this: 🇫🇷 France 🇷🇺 Russia (Most likely 🇭🇺 Hungary) (Great Britain 🇬🇧, if Mega Germany destroys France and Russia) VS 🇩🇪 Mega Germany (🇬🇧 British, if France and Russia destroys Mega Germany) 🇮🇹 Italy (Maybe 🇹🇷 Osman Empire)

Well, technically, I'm not agree with total 100% loss of Russian Republic: indeed, in pure de-jure matter it was indeed so, for Republic was proclaimed in 1st of September of 1917 (by Julian calendar, by Gregorian it's the 14th), yet if we count entire period of Russia between February and October Revolutions (or even up to forceful disbandment of Constituent Assembly in 6/19 of January, 1918), there could be technically two things which one could count as a victories for the Provisional Goverment regime: the July insurrection of radical left-wing forces such as Bolsheviks and Left Social-Revolutionaries ended in their loss and the Kornilov affair, which is kinda dubious thing at all, yet if one percieve it as a genuine attempt of coup by Kornilov (and not as an intrigue by Kerenskiy to consolidate power) it was still thwarted by government. Therefore, there are 66.67% of victories, even if these victories are dubious at best and does not matter at all in any means.

У путена-то понятно, обострилось желание поиграть в собирателя земель под старость. А вот ты там себе что возвращаешь из своего мухосранска, интересно))) А у Украины и не было никогда империалистических амбиций.

4:15 English grammar tip: Plurals in English never use apostrophes. Apostrophes are only used in two circumstances: a) contractions - two words being mashed into one; and b) making possessive adjectives from nouns and proper nouns - but not pronouns The proper way to write the title of this frame is, "Next 10 Planned Videos"

About war with Japan- they have one port on east and they lose it on start- white sea was just ice so help could go literaly aroud africa and asia plus if i remember corectly trans-syberian road was not finish or was the only road plus it was one track train so logistic just screw them in the war the most.

Technically, there were two major Russian Pacific ports: Port Arthur (modern Dalian) and Vladivostok, yet the latter was indeed less important, and the former was blocked by Japanese navy. Apart from mentioned logistical issues of Russians, as I heard, their commanders and generals were real dumbarses, who managed to capitulate Port Arthur even when they could just sit and bleed Japanese white, having such a possibility. This victory of Japan was not a smooth one, and it's possible that Japan's war effort could collapse in such quick manner as it happened with Russia's.

16:02 This part about Iran's constitutional revolution us totally false. Russia didn't end the revolution. The constitutionalists won the Civil War and the king was exiled. He returned later but was defeated again. The Russians presence in northern Iran was the result of a secret treaty in 1907 with the British.
