now, I would've easily added this to the already existing World Heavyweight Championship History video on my channel but for some reason, WWE recognizes this lineage as distinct from the original. Therefore, only Rollins and forward but you can easily find the original history on this channel if that's what you desire.

I *think* the reason they seperated the lineage is because Chris Benoit is on the original WHC lineage and they didn’t want the new championship to have him in the lineage.
