now we are taking a look at The Evolution of YJ animatronics sold at Spirit Halloween and 5 others from Pelican Industries. when they first started the animatronics were pretty gruesome, and terrifying. YJ props stand out from any other company as their mouths move in revearse which usually breaks the mouth after awhile. their Animatronics from 2007-2014 were very loud and had amazing basey sound quality. they didnt even have volume control, and their animtronics from 2007-2013 had the female and male ends of the adapters revearsed. so if you loose the adapter they come with, they arent usable as the plug coming out of the prop is a male end. 2014 they changed it to a normal adapter, and added volume control. 2016-2021 their animatronics speaker quality actually went down wereas every other company has went up. there props are quiter now at full volume then the older props with no volume, and theres no base in the speakers on any of the animatronics from 2016-2020 whatsoever, but they have an external spear slot so you can plug in good speakers to them. the animtronics from 2016-2020 are also silly/corny now and not scary like the older ones, except for sewer varmint and miss mercy, it will be interesting to see what YJ has in store for us the next coming years. for more information check out the YJ page on the spirit Wiki, everything is as accurate as possible and updates are done regularly as more information comes along.
