My dad used to beat me, my brother and my mom as kids. My parents separated and now I have two families, I came to my dad's family because he was feeling better about his addiction... 2 years ago his alcoholism came back but I stayed because I had met an amazing girl... During these 2 years all my brothers left home because of my dad's sickness. Now the girl left me and I'm here, alone in my house with a crazy, drunk and violent dad and I have nothing left but school and my piano... I'm so lost, I have no idea what to do and my mom doesn't really wan't me anymore. My friends also left me because of my emotional instability. Anyway, that song hits me so hard, it's just exactly what I feel right now. Thank you so much for the best cry I've ever had ♥

Experiencing depression for some years now, and sometimes it's just how I feel. I mean, I still can be happy, sometimes I feel the warm sun against my skin and I tell myself "See ? Everything's fine" but in the end.. It doesn't fill the emptiness and leaves me hopeless and my mind kindof snap, leaving me.. not even sad but just... Numb I guess. I'm dealing with it though, seeing a professional to help me, taking medicines, I hope one day it'll be alright :) Nice song anyway, simple yet so effective. The bathtub thing adds something and your voice is really pleasant to the ears :)

I'm in love with this song.... It has so much meaning from begging to end. It's food for the soul, it's like she's speaking to my heart... Depression and abandonment are real when you love and lost it's a spiraling effect that hits harder then you expect.

Why does every song she plays makes me feel speechless. Her beautiful voice, the meaningful lyrics, its so expressive that every time I hear it it makes me want to cry, either from happiness that I can feel all those things, or sad and appreciative of what I currently have, and afraid to lose something or someone that means so much to me.
