I enjoy learning mandarin because of it's way to create a new words using other words. It looks like a some kind of alchemy game. So amusing!

Some people say that 穿 (chuān) is used to mean "wear", because 穿 also means "pass through". And you wear clothing by sticking your arms and legs into it. This concept has helped me, even though it doesn't work for gloves or hats, where 戴 (dài) should be used instead of 穿.
