Oh goodness, it's weird how regional differences have different meanings and context for words. I grew up and was taught that 懂 was the highest form of understanding where you know the reason, but 明白 was in general knowing something. I never even put together that 认识 could be used in a context of being familiar with a concept, only having been introduced to someone, but that does make sense.

Great lesson once again!!!! I'm really getting strong with my listening skills!! I am pleased to announce that I drink warm/hot water now too! It all started when I asked my husband to bring me water and it was hot. Imagine the look on my face, then the look on his. Long story short, I now drink warm/hot water! So, now my unbelievably wonderful and handsome husband who is from Beijing, not only got me hooked on Chinese tea and some kind of magical ointment he put on my foot when I got hurt that he uses to help injuries (he teaches self defense at his police dept, he's a Detective, but has done martial arts his whole life). He now got me into the hot water too!! What's next!?!! Love it! Love him, love learning Chinese! Thank you for all you do!! ❤😊🇨🇳

Difficult to recall character from stroke. It is easy to write part Eg 十 similar words For foreigners, using two L 7, to form 口，then try to write 曰目白由早四回西胃旧申...，then filled up to form 吕,串，石，check handphone software, using voice inputs together。 for 出，to write using two u, u and l,to form 出凹巾帼离山巨叵匠臣革If forget use voice input

。。。核心还是汉字。汉字的组合。把新华字典多看几遍，多看文言文。。文言文的用字精辟精准。。现代汉语口语化了。南方北方用字习惯也有区别，很随意的，

真的有点难解释。希望一些组词能够帮到你: 珍惜眼前人，珍惜生命，珍惜现在的生活，珍惜我们的友情，一般是很珍贵的东西爱惜自己，爱惜手机，爱惜新鞋子。感觉主要是对物品多一点。但是爱惜的东西大多数没有珍惜的东西珍贵。珍惜更珍贵吧（珍惜手机，会很奇怪）爱护花草，爱护环境，爱护眼睛，爱护公共财物（有行为保护的意思在里面）

影响＝influence 事或者人对人或者社会国家造成了什么影响 Something or someone influence people, society or country For example:老师的一番话对我今后的人生造成了很大的影响。The words of my teacher hugely influence my future life. 作用＝effect/ function 通常指物起到什么作用 For example:药物的作用 The function of medicine 这个词用在文章有什么作用? What's the function of the word used in the passage?

作用有好有坏作用can be good or bad. Like side-effect (副作用）is bad. However 效果 which mainly focus on the result is always good. For example:What's the effect if I eat an apple everyday? In addition:“效”＝effect “果”＝“结果”＝result so 效果 is made of these two meaning.

清楚 usually means "clear" or "clearly". For example: Can you see it clearly? 你能看清楚吗？This is clear.这很清楚。 If you want to use it as a verb, 清楚 is similar to 知道, but like know more serious. For example: Do you know this? 你清楚这件事吗？Do you know what situation you are in? 你清楚你的处境吗？

I like the way you teach Chinese. But, the characters you put are so small that they strain my eyes & very hard to read. Could you make the characters much bigger?
