Lol one of the most over rated cars in the last 20 years. Horrible engine, gear box, fit and finish, poor handling due to weight and uncontrolled weight distribution. Just poor. Slower round a track than a base 2L Cayman (1:37.13 Vs 1:37.33 Lausitz). How can anyone fall for a fattened Emira with the drive train from the massively superseded Exige, assembled at Hethel owned by Geely. Are people really this stupid. Its not one of the most anticipated cars lol, its just heavily marketed in the US - checkout the second hand market in the UK and ask yourself some questions. Go and watch Jethro Bovingdons original review. Ask yourself some basic questions e.g. how a car with that weight, and distribution can be good through corners without active toe.

Cybertruck is the definition of a sheep car. If Mazda came out with the same exact design not a soul would be talking about it. Becuase elon makes it "its the future" .. literally a garbage truck

I've been a Lotus guy ever since I saw one in a Los Angeles Lotus showroom in 1995. Since then, I owned a Lotus Elise 111R, and the Esprit S4S was always #1 on my bucket list, until a few weeks ago when I saw an Emira in a parking garage in Utah. It is now #1 on my bucket list. Congrats and hope to see you driving around in it!

Great video - thank you Todd! The Lotus chassis engineers are the best I have ever worked with and they have done a great job with our hardware from the Elise S2 onwards - and the Emira is a superb example of that engineering and tuning skill. Really very good-looking car too. Enjoy it!

Awesome news; big congratulations to you, Todd! Know how much you love Lotus, and how much you were intrigued by the Emira from the very beginning, it's great to see you able to get one for yourself. It's a hyper smiles per mile car. I've enjoyed mine for over a year now. No major issues, just a thoroughly enjoyable car to drive, and of course look at. And the favourable attention it gets has exceeded those achieved by my former TVR's, Noble and Aston. She's a beauty.

I am an admitted car collector (at present, a wide variety of everything from an Honda N600, Lotus Turbo Esprit and even #2 F12 Berlinettas. A total of #23 in my stable). I recently previewed this model of presold cars at the local dealership. This Emira has a truly impressive combination of styling, ergonomics and mechanicals.

From a design and styling point this car with its colour and the interior the titanium/metal colour rims would look timeless .....i am old school like you so i get the wanting silver, but sometimes progress and change is good and just as much of who we are.
