Mexican Food is one of the most popular foods in the world along with fish and chips and a full english breakfast, but what is the difference between Taco Bell and a Mexican Restaurant? Well in this video I head inside one of the biggest restaurant chains Taco Bell and an authentic Mexican restaurant to try out their food to see who is best!

OMG! Authentic Mexican wins hands down! What a vibrant platter! Such a real energy in it - the Taco Bell looked good too - but nowhere near the same fruition! Fun to watch - cheers!

Where I live, NW Arkansas, has a massive Latino population which means we have a lot of authentic Mexican restaurants. You really see the difference between Taco Bell and real Mexican food. Taco Bell is more Americanized food (TexMex), much like most Chinese restaurants in the US serve "Chinese" dishes that have been adjusted to Western tastes. Real Mexican food is night and day different. Maybe not great sometimes, maybe really great others. If you want a quick, tasty, meal than Taco Bell is hard to beat. Like a good curry place you know what you are getting before you walk in the door. A good Mexican restaurant, however, blows that Taco Bell out of the water. There are so many wonderful flavors and meals out there from all over the world.

The Mexican Restaurant is Definitely the Winner!!! The Food looked so Fresh, when you were describing each Dish I could almost taste what you were eating!!! Don't think I've actually tried Authentic Mexican Food but I would like to try after watching this!! 💖

I will always choose independent over chains,whatever the cuisine. They are usually far better,as in this case.

The Mexican restaurant menu is amazing, very authentic cooking going on there. I may even drive up from Norfolk just to eat there!

I think you are suppose to put the cup higher up to get your ice... This way the ice will actually go directly into the cup.

We live in Texas and eat Tex-Mex food at least 2 times a week. The closest restaurant of any kind to our house is a Taco Bell, and we never ever eat there. Instead we have about 4 Tex-Mex places we alternate with.

I think I agree with you sir, the Mexican restaurant looked quality. I have never been to a Taco Bell 🌮 but I shall be searching for my nearest one. I do know there isn’t one in my closet City. Great video my friend ….. Smithy

I was so underwhelmed with Taco Bell when it came to Australia. I love Mexican food & the food you got from Lupe’s looked incredible. Craving Mexican now 😋

I've only been to a Taco place once and that was so long ago I can't remember if I liked the food? But hands down winner looking on has to be the authentic Mexican Restaurant, 3 dishes for £21 is good value. Shame it looks in an out of the way spot so may not get passing trade, but the food looked great!

Definitely the Mexican restaurant, although I really like grabbing a couple of Taco Bell crunchy tacos for a quick meal. It was nice to see the other options at TB. But yeah, a good Mexican restaurant will win every time! 🌮🌯

With food at Taco Bell, you gotta get the packets of hot sauce or Fire Sauce to add for the kick. Or the Diablo Sauce if they have that in the U.K.

Great video. Obviously the Mexican restaurant looked much better but having never been to Taco Bell before, £13 for what looked like a lot of food (and unlimited Pepsi cherry max) looked good to me (although I am hungry)

Unless they added the churrio to the menu, we have cinnamon twist as the dessert choice. However I coukd be just blind to the fact I like the cinnamon twist and ignore other choices.

Mexican restaurant definitely. Two people could share what you had. Really good value and looked fresh. Taco Bell looked a bit too beige for me. 😂 My favourite Mexican food is fajitas which we used to get from a place called chiquittos in Port Solent, Portsmouth... yummy.

Just a side note-many Americans use the term Taco Hell rather than the actual name. Taco Bell is good, cheap, and fast, but it’s not Mexican.

I haven’t tried Taco Bell yet but surely they do dips and sauces as it looks very dry. Also the Taco Bell food I see on KZfaq from America looks much better than what was served here. There was no nacho cheese, salsa dips etc?

Hi, I'm afraid it's neither meal for me. I've never had a Mexican meal, and I know why. I don't like the idea that food drops out of the casings, and it all looked like a mess. It was carb heavy and just not at all appealing to me. I'd prefer a good keema madras curry if I fancy spicy beef, and chapatties that I fold and use like a spoon to scoop it in my mouth. It's cheaper too! xx

you really have to look at cost and value for money which fills you up spending over £10 for a meal out. has to be worth it or you may as well cook it at home for a fraction of the cost. it is hard to spend so much on thing you have never had before. I have not been to taco bell. as I do not wish to waste money on something I do not know I would like

I do not think you know how cheap some herb are in the volumes being used. to make these dishes, nor the real amount of meat. to spend over £13 you can buy a massive amount of ingredients. too many people take the easy way out and buy what can be made cheaply
