we need a mask
it has happened to almost all of us, when we do our needs in the bathroom, part of the waste remains stuck to the edges of the toilet
it tastes bad! but dont worry because today i will teach you a very easy, fast and cheap trick
we need a soap preferably flavored
you can choose the brand you like best
we put the soap inside the mask and we will make a knot
you must the mask in one of the tubes of your toilet and wait 5 minutes
after 5 minutes you can flush the toilet
the soap mixed with the water and it will make it very soft
when flushing the toilet this slippery mixture coats the walls of the toilet preventing anything from sticking to the soap
it will also give a rich aroma to the bathroom, keeping it clean and scented

Tested this out right away. Two days later and I can really tell the difference. Amazing smell and much cleaner in the bowl between cleanings. Mask holding up well and bar of soap still intack 2 days later. I used a bar of Dove pomegranate soap and it smells wonderful in my bathroom. When it needs replacing, I am going to my local healthfood store and replace it with a harder type with natural ingredients as Dove bars are a bit softer and I think the other type of soap will last longer. However, two days into trial and my Dove doesn't even appear to be used, just a little softer. Just became a subscriber today.❤

Please don’t try this ..The chemicals in the soap affects the working of the fill valves & in fact you may have to replace the flush .experienced it myself hence warning others🙏🏻

Was it the soap or do you have hard water? I'm on a well and the iron alone eats everything up so I fail to see how an actual soap..you know fat+lye would harm any thing

Open up a large size paper clip halfway and hang it from the side of the bowl, away from any moving parts. Definitely sounds interesting.

Instead the soap do the same but put inside mask 😷 range peels or half of lemon. It will smell great for about a week, than replace again if you want. I did that and it worked.

It is a nice idea but I wouldn't recommend you do this unless your prepared to replace the rubber flapper in the tank soaps and harsh products can cause premature wear.

The best thing to do is to soak the soap in a bowl on top of the toilet lid. After u flush, just pour a cupful of the soapy liquid in the toilet directly. Then u don’t have to worry about the soap chemicals in tank effecting the flush parts. 🤷🤷👏👏👍👍

The question is will the soap over time effect the parts of the toilet? This is why they say do not put the round toilet bowl disc or cleanser in the back of the toilet because the chemicals erode the parts over time.

They make blue pucks you can buy specifically for the toilet. Keeps your toilet clean and smelling fresh. Better to use products specifically made your your toilet. 🤷‍♀️ The dollarstore even sell them!!

My 6yo son thought it would be cool to cook a chicken in the oven using a stand alone paper towel holder!!! That was an interesting lesson I had to teach 6 children under 12yo. If it's not made for cooking with... It is not safe. Good grief 😔. I think I will need to up my house insurance very soon!

Bucket of hot water pour into toilet bowl. Remove the water. Put a half a scoop of oxiclean in the tank and toilet. Scrub inside of the bowl and let sit. Rinse with another bucket of hot water. Again scrub the bowl with toilet bowl cleaner. Let sit. One must scrub under the rim both times. Do this 2 times a week. Be sure to scrub the floor too if men live with you. When you are completed, flush. Your bathroom will not stink but rather be clean and fresh.

Do NOT use boiling water. I've seen the results of this. The porcelain is not able to handle the change in temperature, and cracks, leaving you with the need to install an entire new toilet.

This is not advisable in the long run. The soap residue is not good for the bowls flushing mechanism and the toilet bowl itself. I tried this in the past and it became dirty and stained the inside of the tank. The stain is hard to remove and not nice to look at. Only clear water should be inside the tank.

I usually puncture a tiny hole to the bottom of a bottle of pinesol or any scented floor cleaner & place it in the toilet tank. Every flush was scented & it lasted for a month

Do not do this! Unlike when you use soap on your body & rinse it off, the soap permanently soaking in the cistern leaves a scum (remember this is why we clean the shower out) which degrades the rubber in your toilet flapper. It's the same deal as fabric softener in washing machines. It's a cute idea but ultimately an expensive one. Toilet duck is a lot cheaper

Great idea. Natural soaps would be good in this case - to avoid the issue of build up. I am going to try an experiment with scrnted laundry beads to see if they work / if they leave a residue / and how long they last.

We should never use soap and any sort of detergent in toilet pot....doing so will cause killing of those micro and macro baterias that helps in composting toilet waste in safety tanks. Make sure you use only biodegradable products and nothing else....think of environment not just ur home toilet. Will u live in clean home surrounded by overflowing safety tanks that spreads bad odour to everybody? Pls look at bigger picture.

Ok you sound utterly stupid seeing that soap water and lord knows what else is going down and meeting at the main sewer lines anyway. Soap inside the toilet is only separate thriught the floor pipes but ones it reaches the basement /sewer ground pipes all that mess meets up out the same pipe and there’s ton more crap coming out the shower pipes than bar soap.

Dive bars are soft, and I used to love them because they didn’t leave any scum, but they have toxic ingredients. I’d replace it, as someone else mentioned, with a natural soap! 💫

Agree with comments here. The best way to clean tank is to swish around some dish soap occasionally. Cleaners full time erode the seal. A deodorizer product no harsh chemicals wouldn’t hurt but a didusser if you have room would be better.

DON'T do this!! I did this and about a month later, I started noticing that my toilet was having problems and it wasn't flushing correctly, and then it started draining the water tank. Like there was water in the toilet, but none the back of the tank. Then my toilet just wouldn't flush at all. I open the back of my toilet tank and this contraption swelled up and turned into foam! Like there was a great big ball of foam, and foam all up in my toilet tank. The maintenance guy had never seen anything like that before and neither did I. He had to replace the valve but now it's still having problems.

😂🤣 Why do people constantly say flavored when they mean scented? Also, I'm not a fan of attaching things to mobile mechanisms in general 🤔. Won't part of the mask degrade? If so, that could mean problems if pieces are caught under/around the flapper or stuck. I get the concept, just not something I'm willing to try.

@@tashiwangmo6207 many soaps are not anti-bacterial. What is a toilet safety tank? Do you have a septic system? There are no micro and macro bacteria. A quick google search tells me most soaps are considered biodegradable. Our waste water system is ok with soap.

There used to be some kind of scented thing you could use in place of the toilet roll holder, if you had the spring loaded type. They may have gone by the wayside as most of us now have a straight one sided bar for the roll. I just have a little bowl of cotton balls which I spray with perfume once in a while, and it goes under my bathroom cabinet, which is freestanding. You can also lightly mist the light bulbs with your favourite scent.

Not a good idea. Over time there will be a soap film build-up on everything inside the toilet tank, a sticky mess that will effect the fill valve operation. You’ve been warned.

I wouldn’t do this due to the comments about wearing out the valves, but I do chuck the small end pieces of soap into the bowl of the loo sometimes and just let it sit there and dissolve. Better than just binning them.

Don’t ruin your mechanical workings of your toilet tank. Clean and scrub the bathroom at least 3x a week will give you freshness remember it’s a toilet.

After redoing my older toliet then later replacing with a newer one I understand somewhat how the insides work and I can see the soap scum getting around the piece that floats that shuts the water off when toliet is full. I have iron and hard water and I have to clean mine to keep it working correctly. Ive always loved BowlFresh deodorizer, not sure why but I just really love the smell, probably weird but it will go through the whole house, its really good and cheap.

I would take the soap out of its package for a while to air dry/harden. And then I would use a command hook to hang the soap on so as to not disrupt the toilet mechanism. ;)

Duh!! You didn't know that we are also supposed to eat soap! When it's eaten it doesn't need to be in the toilet tank to work. It comes straight out of your junk trunk and into the toilet. Flushing actions as scrubbing motion to now clean the toilet with the soap you ate the day before.😅😅#shitsoap

I tried this ... smells nice, but a residue builds up and not easy to clean .. and I think, might cause damage to the pipes, etc inside the toilet bucket. If it wasn't for that, I would suggest it too.

You could probably just throw a bar soap in the bottom of the tank

Except that the mask material contains the soap and lets it dispense more slowly into the water… where a bar of soap at the bottom will end up as sludge that might float around and could interfere with operation of one of the moving parts🤷🏻‍♀️

Also I make my own soap and I put too much eucalyptus in one of them I don’t like the smell at all but it’ll be perfect for that.🥰

One time on a visit to my bf I noticed her new laminate floor had a film on it. Inquiring of said film my bf said her daughter watched a video on tik toc suggested to make your home smell great mop the floor with Fabuloso detergent ; which daughter did with best of intentions but not good on floor. I read what pros use to clean particular floor she had. Caution it said . Use only ...... to maintain and clean floor . We went to store , she purchased product and we spent hours stripping that Fabuloso off her floor and treating it to original sheen. It behooves us to do research before doing things we see on vidoes or listen to people suggest . LOL We learn tho !

I was thinking about cleaning Soaps like zote and they have mesh bags really cheap or cheese cloth with string , because I was wondering if the paper disintegrated after a while being in the water.

Pls use biodegradable soaps which won't kill bacterias that actually helps in composting toilet waste and keeping our safety tanks from overflowing

Lovely idea. It's best to use the stuff that we buy in the shops as fatty soaps over time will cause a build up in the waterworks.

I used Clorox toilet bowl cleaner. Drop one inside. Water is blue and it smells fresh! Just amazing!🤓🤓🤓
