@@weknow463 Yeah, the ghost who made CR7 disappear from 2009 ( by beating him head on in the CL final which Ronaldo could never do in his whole career) to 2012 and even though CR7 came back it was for a brief 2 years before Messi again made him disappear and since 2019 permanently ! Now CR7 can't be in the race for the best 5 in the world and has to be satisfied with CR 5 while Messi is LM 7 and counting !

People who never seen him life or just started watching 5 or 6 years ago will never know the Messi between 2007 and 2013, he was unstoppable, never try to debate with any fan of another player because its hard to tell them how far above anybody else he was/is on a footballing level. Dribbling and creating, was on another level.

Ronaldinho defies laws of nature and makes you go wow, messi does too, but Ronaldinho is naturally more talented than messi because Ronaldinho could do every skill to a high level, so his tricks would change meaning he had lots in his locker. 1 goal in 11 games. Messi was only good in Barcelona, real good player could perform well in any team like CR7 did. Messi is awful in PSG, and awful in Argentina. CR7 was equally as good in ManU, Real Madrid, Juventus and Portugal.

Penalty box poacher, dude in his prime he scores goals wayyyy far than other players, the top scorer of all time, most international goals. Most UCL goals, absolutely a goal scoring machine, I'm not saying ronaldo is better, I'm just saying they both have their own way of goal scoring, even at this age , both of them holds records, I'm a extremely athletic person, the feat of pure human edurance and athletic capabilities are the factors that had me attracted to ronaldo.

I still find it incredible that he’s achieved so much and broken so many records that certain records barely even get spoken about. For example, scoring in 21 consecutive league games (meaning he scored against every single team as that’s how La Liga fixtures are arranged) is absolutely staggering. I feel blessed to have witnessed him throughout all the stages of his career.

Cr7 has my respect that he went head to head with him in terms of goal scoring ability but apart from that there has not been a single footballer now or before that comes remotely close to his all round ability’s in football. Interesting how even in matches where he couldn't score he still was playing in an amazing level. I always wondered "wait, if he's that good, why isn't Barcelona winning the Champions everytime?" I guess that's football, at the end of the day, even playing that good, the rest of the team has to be almost as good as the top player.

a legend at 21... in most countries in Africa at a certain age we have to stop playing and focus on studying (bcz our parents think that's the only way to glory) so most of us never fulfill our dreams we just live to survive. I loved football when I was young so much that I always lied that I was born with footballboots and I was great at dribbling, I was bad at finishing so I was somewhat of a midfielder. at 12 yrs I was pushed out of football even punished for it, but I was lucky because I was good at drawing. now after graduating in computer and electronics am an 2d animator( totally different to the years wasted in school). life is good now that I do what I love. but I always wonder if I was born in Europe or southamerica could I have made it as a pro football player. thanks for reading all my story, and if you skipped some parts its fine you tried to care lol.

I first heard of Messi in 2008 & from what I'd heard I thought Messi was a legend from the past, I didn't know he currently played because I'd never seen him. Then one day I see the final vs United & I see the starting lineup & there I see "Messi, 21 years old".. I knew from the moment I saw him touch a ball in that game that he was different.. and I've not missed a Barca game since. And I'm a Liverpool fan :) there where times I'd watch Barca instead of Liverpool just to see Messi play.

I disagree. Even if it's always a matter of opinion which version of Messi might be the best. I believe from what i've seen in 2010 he had quite lot of things to improve in his game. 2010 was indeed a part of his prime, i just don't think it was his peak tough.

excellent video. Really showed the aspect of Messi's persona as a feisty tenacious physical competitor. People don't really grasp how physical Pele and Maradona were. So was Michael Jordan in Basketball. When you have finesse and tenaciousness in a very competitive persona, you will end up with a great player.

heard people comparing him with cr7, spent lots of time but cannot find such running dribbling compilation of cr7. cr7 is more like solo quick foot work, end up with no dribbling, no passing thru opponents, but a simple side pass and or back pass
