Everyone Finds Them But Are These Actually Gold?
I finally found a dental crown. Lost of people find them on the beach, BUT are they really gold? We are going to find out in this video. From what I read some are and some aren't, also some have gold in them but have a lot of other alloys. The NOX 900 sniffs out a really heavy silver ring.

Recovery speed : 5-7 (depends how trashy the beach is)

Ground Suppressor (GS): 0 (off)
BC (bottle cap rejection): 6
Audio Gain: 1 (anything higher on the beach the machine becomes really chatty)
Tones: Ptones
Tone Volume: Max (10) on all 1-60
Tone Frequency Notches 1-10: 1 (makes the 1-10 iron signals a deep grunt)
Tone Frequency Notches 11-60: 27
Tone Break: Default 1-10 Iron, 11-60 normal tones
Threshold: Default
Threshold Frequency: Default
Sensitivity: will vary but from 23-28 depending on the beach

@@SOFLOTreasureFinds I already said that I found one and I tested it for gold and it helped for gold but it tested with electronic tester and it ended up being palladium and that still a good find. So it is one or the other. After the beach and salt did not hurt it.

As one of the other guys said, they make crowns out of a lot of alloys but often have some potion of gold of platinum. I have found tons of them over the years. Lots of mine are gold. Most only test at 14 k. I have gotten a few that tested lower and a few that test higher. I was told that a lot of dental gold is like 16k. What a great hunt. Really high target area. So great when the beach starts cutting deep. You know how much I love the wet sand. Great silver ring. You and Amy have a great Christmas and New Years. ❤🎄🎅🏴‍☠️🙂great video

Hey watching hunt content and good going on the silver ring but as far as the crown goes the one that I found tested good for gold but when I sold it I was informed that it was palladium he had an electronic testing machine, still valuable almost good as gold, keep on swinging make it fun and Happy Hunting 🙂👍..

Dental crowns are tough, they make them out of all sorts of pms. Gold with platinum or palladium, all 3. Silver, not so much anymore. Get a bottle of sodium dichromate, they sell it from same company as test acids. You put it right on the metal.
