Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Cask Strength all day.

Knobel is a Whiskey by Mike Rowe, Dirty Jobs and he is the narrator from Deadliest Catch. Knobel is named after his grandfather Carl Knobel. This Whiskey is from Columbia Tennessee - I THINK- It is a grain to glass product from Tennessee and DOES use the Lincoln County Process to be called a Tennessee Whiskey. I haven't YET tried the product, but I will in the next few weeks... CHEERS!!! YOU can never go wrong with THE LOST MONARCH... However, If you like RYE, Emerald Giant is also AMAZING! HEY, I will ALWAYS have a gallon of EWBIB for cocktails, ALWAYS!! LOL

That 1792 Full Proof for $49 is a heck of a deal. It's 125 proof and tastes like 95 proof! Excellent pour. If you don't have one in your bar, I'd highly recommend it. Great video!!

Great video and great pickups. The Old Forester SB I bought was amazing. Don't sleep on Green River. Very good stuff at a great price. A far cry from what they were known for putting out. Bardstown squiring them wasn't a bad thing either. That was a great price for The Representative. I would have picked up a couple of bottles if I was there.

Old Forester single barrel all day. Those single barrel store picks are difficult for the stores to get (lottery system), and they are always delicious! Excellent choices!

I had a lost monarch cask and it was ok. I thought it would be better based on how much I liked the regular lost Monarch. It’s also a BouRye and not a small batch as you stated.

If no one has spoken on Jeptha Creed, let me speak on that. It's a pass for me. The mash bill uses Bloody Butcher Corn, it's just not terribly sweet, has an almost Sour Mash (accent on the Sour) flavor to it. It also drinks hot. I live about 15 mins from their distillery, lovely people, great place... not a fan, at all, of their products. That's a 100% Try before you Buy.

I pulled the trigger on a Jeptha Creek Bloody Butcher Corn. Fresh crack it was a never buy again. Revisited a few days later and was a lot different.

Jeptha is a good one. The proof is right and the taste is good if you like an earthy kinda punky taste to your bourbon.

Great store! If it wasn’t 5 hrs away I’d definitely check it out. I picked the Elijah Craig private barrel up yesterday, had a couple pours last night. Loved it. You’ll definitely want to crack open your bottle before long.

That Rebel 100 6year is tasty. I'm hoping Ry3 comes to my market soon. Old Forester SiB is one I've always looked for.

Right next to the Knob Creek store pick was a Rebel Cask Strength store pick for $55, and you didn't even acknowledge it!! Those Rebel wheaters are great pours, and if you can find a Rebel 10yr, you definitely need to pick that bottle up!

Traveller is not bad. Very similar to regular BT but it has a bit more of a lingering flavor profile. I think those who snub it are the kind of folks who don’t have any regular bottles and pride themselves on their one of a kind palate that only enjoys craft whiskey from their “really good friend’s” distillery. Pinkies up fellas!!!

Tasting before you buy is a must for me anymore, prices are getting too high to take a chance...lol. 🤔

Nice picks! I was in Caesar's about a month ago, picked up an Old Dominick's Single Barrel store pick from them but passed on the Old Forrester SP. Nice to know that our paths have crossed. Just yesterday picked up an Old Forrester Store Pick in Colorado as well as a Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Cask Strength in Omaha, NE today. You have good taste my friend! TN is a great place to shop for bourbon...better than 90% of the states.

Old Forrester barrel strength, 1792 Full Proof, and EC private barrel for sure. Underrated pick would be that Yellowstone store pick. Had two and they were both delicious. Haven’t had redwood yet but have heard great things.

I just tried my bottle of blade and bow that was unopened for a while. I think its great and idk why people hate on it. They say its sourced but i definetly get a profile similar to buffalo trace with a twist.

You need to crack that Blue Note Juke Joint uncut bottle. It's a nice pour. And on Redwood, I'd go with the Pipe Dream over Lost Monarch. The Bourye Monarch is good, but I think Pipe Dream is their best product.

The Redwood Lost Monarch is a Bourye . it’s a mixture of the Pipe Dream and Emerald Giant I believe. Even if it’s the wrong bottle it’s still good. They’re whole lineup is good imo.

If you dont have Russell’s SiB, pick it up. never had a bad one yet. Redwood Empire both lines the regular and cask strentgh both great but try and get cask strentgh at under $90 because cask strentgh isnt $60 better than regular line.
