Before the cameras came along OCC was working out of a basement, Paul Sr’s debatable skills in the motorcycle world hadn’t got them anywhere but he to this day remains under the impression their success is all down to him. A show watchable only for the skills of the likes Rick, Paul Snr, Cody and Vinny and not the embarrassing figures like Michael, Paul Snr and the utterly appalling Jason Pohl.

I didn't throw tantrums like this when I was 6. So glad this show is over.

The fact is he’s an overly an unnecessarily abrasive personality. He screams and yells when he has no need to. No doubt his employees eventually had enough of a working environment that just was not conducive to enjoying your life.

Back when the show was on the air they did a meet and great at Daytona bike Week and the guy was a jerk.

I’ve ran into Paul Sr a bunch of times here recently at his OCC restaurant in Pinellas Park as well as events here in Pinellas county, and he’s actually really nice guy.

I don't think I've ever seen Paul Sr do any work. It's usually Jr and his guys doing all the heavy lifting

It’s simple. Senior couldn’t design or fabricate any of the designs that Junior or others came up with. He hired people to do those things.

I’m not sure why everyone would hate him, as I think a lot of it was “acting” but I can’t help but respect anyone who puts their life on the line for their country.

Why does everyone hate Sr.? Because he is / was abusive. Had no talent for making motorcycles but always complained that it was not done right but never actually did any of the design or work!

Senior never cooled down.The constant yelling ,he had zero respect for anyone . He only wears shirts with the sleeves cut off to make him look like a biker hard ass . Did you ever see him smile? No because his rage won't let him . The mustache says it all, curves down to highlight his constant scowl and disrespect for everyone.

Sr was a micromanager and a control freak who didnt do anything but bark at people. I remember one episode where hes legit walking around bitching abt the shop being dirty and makes everyone stop working and clean the place then complains that they arent further ahead on the bike after.

I just thought most of the theme bikes looked silly. And the one with the metal spike pointing at your head......

Both Jr and Sr had tempers and the cameras amplified it AND producers of the show antagonized them. Reality TV is only real to a degree...a LOT is staged and scripted, just like the WWE. Off the show some seem to be different people. I had friends at a car show where the OCC had some bikes and were there for publicity several years ago. Jr acted like he was annoyed to be there and unpleasant to the fans. Mikey straight up was a jerk unless you were paying for their merch. Paul Sr though was all smiles, greeting and chatting it up with anyone and everyone, taking pictures and spending time with the fans. He is either a master actor putting on a show of a pleasant man with the public, or maybe the show exaggerates his temper. Or maybe my friends opinion of how the family was acting was biased. Sure, being a military Vet/PTSD and coping with addiction would have caused rifts in the family, but Sr at least tried. I'll say this much...I've seen them build bikes that looked like they'd be great to cruise in, but others that just seemed to not be anything more than a gorgeous showpiece in a corporate lobby. If I had an opportunity to meet them individually, I'd be respectable to them unless they showed the negative PR was deserved.

Its funny the whole chopper thing has been dead since 08. A bike that once sold for 75K or 100K is now worth maybe 10 to 15 K thats so insane .

Lets be honest. we all watched for the drama. After they got the first flojet was the start of the shows slow decline. Most but a few bikes were shit mechanically and craftsmanship wise compared to other bike builders. Biker buildoff showcased a lot of great builders far better than these guys ever were. What was done to cody was wrong. What they put vinny through, wrong. Toxic the whole family.

It must be horrible for a man with such an insane ego as senior to be left all alone and as irrelevant as ever. The days of 250 thousand dollar custom choppers are long gone and will never be a reality ever again. Sudden, unwarranted fame and fortune was fun while it lasted

My friend and I met this duche bag at a motor cycle show back in circa 2001 2002 . They where displaying there bikes. We rolled up to there display . Hey cool bikes . His response was you can't afford one . Never asked how much. My friend responded by No I wouldn't want one. They were acting like some wanna be tuff guys . I was not impressed. Mainly because they never really built the bikes from scratch. Like Jesse James did. Yeah I seen the Joke of a show where they built one from scratch. Sorry still not impressed. The son was cool tho. The dad I have 0 respect for how do you sew your own kid?

I think saying everyone is stretching it. I'd much rather work for/with Senior over Jr. Jr thought the world revolved around him. Senior wanted him there, as a partner, being an example to the other employees. Jr, as a partner should have realized that and put his big boy pants on and gotten to work ontime etc. The better the employees perform the better the company performs which benefits all. Same as any other job really. When you become upper management these things are Expected!!

The motorcycles were rated the worst. They could not go over 50 mph and the value of the cycles dropped considerably. Very uncomfortable to ride.

It's simple you can't be a full time jackass and expect everybody to like you or work with you! I work in the oil patch. There's a lot of hazing a lot of ribbing that goes on. But it's all in good fun and mostly to pass the time. It Paul senior worked out there the 1st time. He threw a temper tantrum. He would not be back to work the next day. Because from the top down everybody would pick on him and make fun of him! And if he did it would be vicious. There would be people bringing him depends tampons diapers. They have a saying in the oil patch if you can't handle it you can't stay!

My father,since I remember,was very impatient ,abusive , had a bad temper ,would beat me up ,tell me off For any thing , and at the age of 15 . He kicked me out of his house, it took a long time to forgive him. My heart and Spirit was broken,l live a miserable life of hate ,until one day l ask Jesus in to my heart, and the Holy spirit came into my heart and for gave me of my sins of hate in my heart .After that I was able to forgive my father it’s been 40 years ago ,thank God He reached out to me l’m free from the hate in my life . That’s why l didn’t care for Paul Senior too much cuz I understood Paul Senior needs Jesus in his heart to heal and change his life ,Aman.

Paul Sr. Just wanted attention and dominate behaving like his Juniors instead of being respectful Senior. What a family if you consider them a family? Is this a typical American family? The land of opportunity to sue your own fresh and blood family. It's sad to see family destroyed by greed. What is the most valuable thing in life, materialism or family? As humanity's knowledge grows so does the greed for materialism overcome the humanity spiritual beliefs of kindness and compassion, the good of humanity slipped slowly away. What separates human from animals or any less intelligent species apart is our humanity, we're grew passed our barbarian ancestors and now an intelligent human civilization. But as we grow, we become more distance from our humanity side and become more less compassion more like the technology we created, a robot.

The stupid fits Paul Sr would throw, it was like a diaper baby in a grown mans body that would throw bitch fits and didn't know how to handle himself. I wondered if a lot of that bickering was just BS done by the producers to make it more entertaining during empty space to fill up some gaps during the show. Happens a lot in other Real Life shows that are mostly just show boating to entertain the audiences.

JR. While very talented also created a bad work place, always showing up late, coming and going when he wanted.
