Im sure the king thought about other ways to handle other then having his daughter’s life taken. Unfortunately, those solutions would have caused a civil war or even an rebellion. Im sure the queen had people in the king’s ear telling him that. In the end, it was a choice between a daughter that he cared about or the people and even the entire royal family.

I think in her case, it’s a full grown woman only able to use 8% (at the time of the full grown woman comment) of her abilities, since her body and soul aren’t in sync, she’s basically two separate people, her adult self who we follow the story through, and her child self who has control of the body, and who has to interpret what the older self wants using her own limited abilities This is best shown when she first meets the emperor and tries to greet him formally, but the child controlling the body could only interpret that as babbling with cute eyes

Imagine being a child and having financial responsibilities… I could not even as an adult.

Part 2, pls. I like this manga, but will say I think she is acting pretty consistent with a sheltered and neglected 18 yr old in a 6 year oldest body. Age was in some ways just a number in her previous life.

She lvls up her magic/stats by eating cake, while whenever I eat cake I lvl up my diabetes/obesity 💀💀💀 (Part 2 pls)

This is the most accurate portrail of an adult being reincarnated into a small child that I have ever seen. Her childlike behavior makes sense, considering her physical brain is still that of a child's and isn't developed enough to think like an adult, even if she had the memories of an adult. If an adult suddenly had the body of a baby, they might not even have object permanence anymore. Much less be able to think like a responsible adult.

This does remind me of how my buddies kids thought he disliked them because he never drug them along when he would wrech or do other stuff... and didnt express himself all that well... i had to just walk them out and "they want you to involve them in your hobbies"... the fucking grin on his face had us all smiling... took a bit but the kids got that, he never tried to make them to anything like that because, as a kid, he hated his father forcing him to help... mostly because his fathers a douche... on the other hand... my buddy and most of our friends... are good with kids... kids like to learn...most have a craving to learn new things once exposed to how fun it is... also learning to problem solve... not something a modern formal education teaches from our observations... hes got a great relationship with the kids and grand kids these days... the grand kids got the "just tell him you want to help/learn" lecture before being dropped off for a summer, the 8yo girl is a natual mechanic/welder/etc.. just a bunch of stuff she watched us do.. then within a few tries was able to do as well or better then adults with more then double her life in exp doing said work... shes now a welder that gets called into all sorts of interesting jobs... they had to quick swap a totally seized diesel engine from a cruise ship, only having a week to get it swapped, due to her size and willingness to do things most of us wouldnt be willing to do even with her tiny body... they got the job done 2 days early and they were able to give the engine a test run on a short loop, taking the workers along for the full experience of a short cruise, it also im told made them docking for the cruise prep and loadup easier as they had to pull around and out in a wide loop anyway, to dock the correct orientation.. and they had to dial the engine in, i mean fresh install of a rebuilt massive engine... gonna take a bit of dialing in.. also best to put some run time on it and make sure its working properly after install... anybody whos swapped a motor/engine and had it work fine on the stand but installed.. give you headaches.. or any PC tech whos got much exp building.. can tell you , just because something works on the stand/bench, dosnt mean its not gonna make you want to grot yourself when you install it in a case... once found that a board didnt like all of the screw ponts to be..groudned.. 3 ahd to have washers above and below or the system wouldnt post.. board maker sent me a replacement board that was rev 1.2... LOL they sent me some sticky washers to replace what i was using that, the board still got on it... my buddy has that rig setup as one of his retro gaming systems... the sticky teflon washers are holding up well.. despite it being re-cased 6 times.. (he got ahold of better retro cases or wanted to use the one it was in for a more period set of guts... hes odd but hes a great guy... he re-capped a board for me i gave him...gave it back with a top end cpu shoved in it and some RECC ram that worked in it and doubled how much memory the system could hold... only those specific sticks would work infact... even others with the same IC's but dif pcb's wouldnt.. when i was done using it... he bought me a board/chip combo to get me up to modern standards and put it into a system he had infact been saving for the board/chip/ram he gave me back... dude replaced all the caps with gold audio grade caps.. that were a bit over spec.. its a beast for its era.. anyway..i have also got a friend who thought his mother hated him... took getting her drunk one night on a couple white russians, for her to drop the wall and embarassment and just hug him.. and act very... well loving and cute... her husband gave me a look and "you got my wife drunk"... then i explained why and he chuckled.. the nice thing was.. after that..she slowly got over the fact she never felt comfortable around kids... even her own... now shes absoluely a crazed grandma who started to home school the kids and thier friends during cv19 and... ended up helping start a private school that does a mix of in school/class stuff and home schooling support... she saw how much it was hurting the kids being isolated and... finding out their friends were the same... they had a parents meeting and my friends mom offered to home school a few days a week if others would helpout and pitch in... when the couple down the hill from my friends farm found out... they offered to teach in trade for the kids helping around their farm a few hours a week, that turned into a few hours a day 3 days a week, because the kids like it and, are rewarded for their efforts... also they are getting educated by 2 retired college professors who love kids/young adults.. and infact turned their old barns feed loft into a living loft for some of the kids whos parents were not around alot, the fact they have never had a problem with the kids doing anything dangerous or majorly stupid.. impresses me... i think teaching kids to think before acting is sort of a key thing people forget to do... but that they had to drill into the kids at all the farms because, livestock can kill you... dont rush up behind a horse/cow/etc for example... good way to get kicked and.. endup very hurt or even dead... anyway... assuming because people are awkward around you, they dont like you, is... very human but also, often very wrong... we all sometimes act awkward around people we like or want to get to know... even my friends who a the "chad" types.. who have unbelievable self confidence i have seen go full "blushing school girl" around somebody they genuinely had a thing for... often not the kind you would expect a guy or gal like that to act that way around... my buddies wife... well i got it.. but i knew her for years before they met and... shes a zero makeup tomboy... dresses like a guy most of the time, it really ticked his ex wife off to see him dating somebody her polar opposite.. but who when "dolled up" by our friend group... just made his ex look plane.. not entirely due to looks but.. her personalty shows in her body lang and expressions... you cant not smile when shes smiling and happy... or feel it when somethings off with her... we joke shes a projective empath :P
