I used to watch this all the time in 7th grade, earphones on during recess or any time we had some free time. I had no friends and a poor "home" life, got bullied, and my only consolation was my phone and every once in a while this video. Seeing this now as a university student approaching my 20s, I'm still fundamentally lonely like the video says but I'm not as alone anymore. It feels like I'm looking back at my old self and giving the little kid a consoling pat. We'll be okay, kiddo.

Ive been avoiding watching this because some of ADHD’s videos can be very disturbing and depressing, but I’m so glad I finally decided to watch this. This is super wholesome and especially hits close to home during this time, (in quarantine if your reading this later) it really shows you that there’s no point in being angry, everyone is going through something and we’re all in this together. might as well make the most of it.

It's Def true. I've made friends with bullies growing up. Turned out, they were lonely and going through hard times. They could only show it through being mean to others for attention. This song is so good for when you're in a bad mood, it perfectly blends that nihilistic tone that would help you vibe with it but also carries a really hopeful message, it has a nice "Everything sucks, but you can make it better" that you don't hear in a lot of feel-good songs. Years after first hearing it it's still one of my favorite songs

I'm going broke because I can't let my mother or siblings suffer, even though it's causing me difficulty. I get in trouble at work for covering the failures of my co-workers, since it means the top brass can't give them shit and replace them. I lost hundreds of dollars because the first room I rented in a house didn't have the pay returned when I left early, even after they told me they'd rented to an entire family and I have to be gone in a few weeks. They never contacted me again... People like this do exist... But we're often down with life, our financial status is always barely equaling out bi-monthly or we're steadily dipping into the red. As it happens, several tend to retreat from humanity whenever possible. Outside of work and groceries... I avoid direct contact with people. I've got enough pain and drain to deal with already.

I first listened to this song 5 years ago and back then we didn't have WiFi at home so I used go to the internet cafés. I wrote the song lyrics on my diary and I found that diary in an old cupboard because I was looking for plant fertilizer. And I could still sing that song I still remembered the melody. Its not true that those people(who were selfless but became like others) Don't want to help people...they are just Afraid to get pranked..well there is still some dumb people to get fooled by others but still here to help(yes those hardcore optimists exists),we should encourage them and get inspired to help other people,because...like it said in the song,everyone is in pain...if you share theire pain it will make less impact and if you share your happiness it may not incress but it will make there pain less painful .and about those selfish people...I dont know how get rid of those actual selfish people yet...but if we teach a new big generation to become helpfull and kind to others and some how showing them others sufferings than I believe big part of that generation will become kind(it just a simple belief)
