Hate when they hack for 1 or 2 sec knowing that my pokemon charges up faster than theirs, just so they can get their attack off before mine.

Ok, that lag hack happened to me a few times yesterday and I thought "Oh great. A new glitch." Now I know that someone didn't want a fair fight. Awesome. I'd rather it be a glitch.

Team Preview was a feature locked from even ranked matches until gen 4 or 5 because the information was so precious, in a game where it's 3v3 with limited switches and timers, that's a game changing cheat that Niantic gives you a free raid pass for you to shut up your mouth.

Of course, this solution would probably imply "some small lags" on some actions (Pokemon switch or charged move resolution) but at least, no cheating would be possible by network packets analysis.

The algo is bullshit. It should have categories. I either complete open with no matchmaking and then the other algorithm style.

I’ve been getting NON STOP CORE BROKE since the new schedule dropped Friday. The algo is full on raging. Dropped over 300 elo. Switched up teams, didn’t matter. I went 8/25 and then 9/25. At one point I was 7/30 in a row. It was INSANE. I’m so fuckin sick of it and I’m not playing anymore until they give us a competitive mode.

If you guys get a recording of you guys freezing. Get a support ticket and they will either give you pokecoins or a premium pass🙏

AK, you might be onto something when you say that Niantic likes to spite the PoGo Community. I kinda got that feeling when they changed the Elite Egg Spawn Time for this current Elite Raid Day from 12 AM to 6 AM. And I think the only reason they did that was because we complained that Mega Rayquaza should’ve been a Raid Day instead of an Elite Raid Day; so they went and took our ability to properly prepare for this event.

Phone is frozen!... Game is back, but I lost. Are you serious? Crap happens. Then it happens again, and again, and again. It's clear this is real. I don't even play anymore, and I saw this crap since 2020, 2019. It's bull.

I just had that game freeze on me in the Go Battle League last night when I started to turn the fight around! That's crazy bro. The freeze frame crap has been happening to me just when I have enough energy to win the battle it's been happening to me for a while now.

I just have an issue with the raids in general- During the school year, I’m in college with a solid group of 6-8+ other students who play PoGo daily. During the summer, I’m in the extreme outskirts of a small, rural town 2 hours away from everyone at my university. The closest town to us is a half hour drive, which most days I don’t want to do. Over here, only my mom and I play regularly. This makes it next to impossible to do any raids over 3 stars because there’s just not enough people. With the elite and shadow raids, I can’t do them because you can’t send or receive invites. It’s really frustrating

I absolutely hate pvp, which is why I’ll forever be stuck at level 43. 😭

If you are cheating in a Pokemon game you need to take a good look in the mirror. What a joke.

I remember when queuing up a battle once they show your opponent you used to be able to hit that surrender button in the top left to make you go back to the previous screen and you could select a different league. Now that surrender button disappears after a few seconds when queuing up for an opponent. This change had something to do be the discord cheat because once they made the change is when people started talking about it.

I hope people really are dropping this crap. I only get to rank 20 for the resources, then forget about it until the next season, and even then I get to experience some of this last moment freeze BS. What a mess.

Anyone else here had the pvp match start but other player have a bad pokemon match up to yours so game cancels at the start when pokemon revealed and you not get the win when they clearly quit the game?

How can they see what team the other people have??? Do they do this through a public API??

There were a few times when I had a good lead, then immediately the game showed "error" and i had to find a match again. Definitely not a coincidence!

I often find myself in unlosable situations, and when the charge move animation should start, the game goes into an idling mode. The camera swaps into charged mode angle, but the only thing that occurs is the loading symbol. It remains this way indefinitely, and among closing the app and returning, you are prompted with a message that the previous battle cannot be recovered. Is there a weird app that emergency brakes the game, so that losses become draws?

The algorithm forces me to 50-52% win no matter what. All my friends too. It literally forces you to have a 50% win rate. There’s no skill, nothing involved. Skill comes into play MAYBE 2-3 out of every 10 battles, on a good day. This game is an absolute wreck. Only good for stacking the dust

Had a match yesterday where the opponent seemed to be missing/bugged out, so i went through grinding down their team of 3 tanky pokemons unopposed, until my game froze right before i coud land the finishing blow. At the time i thought it's only fair that i don't get that free win, but now it feels like i simply got toyed with.

I had the issue doing gbl like 2 weeks ago maybe 3 and i got hard counter 5 times in a row the algorithm is bs and its starting to die out because of all the cheaters

Spoofing for pvp perfects doesn’t matter if you can’t get the timing right for switches/ don’t have the correct move sets 😉

This has happened to me loads too, many a time I've got to 3,4 or 5 wins and then I get a match that freezes or errors just as I finish or thought I'm gunna win - I just thought it was a game fault or glitch

That frozen game thing happens to me soooo often. I’ll be a move away from winning and it freezes. Also everytime I’m on a long win streak I get five straight impossible match’s. Achieved legend when I was nowhere near as good as I am now. Now every season I hang around high 50% win rate. Now I just play weird shiny lineups and don’t care.

Its like, they knew who we had in pvp? And the right pokemon to counter? Say what? Figured it out after the first day playing pvp. They need to just get rid of it. Only for spoofs, and bots to power up accounts to sale anyways. Remove cheaters revenue. Keep real players honest.

I have been stuck at level 37 for a year because 1. they removed the remote raid passes, so I can’t find large raid groups and actually get the loot from raids 2. I can’t get the loot from the go battle league because I don’t have the loot in the first place to get the good pokemon which I need to use to get the loot from winning. 3. Whenever I actually do construct a good meta team after like a month of diabolically slow grinding I get set up against the one fucking perfect counter to my team, 25 times in a row. This video has opened my eyes as to why this last one may be happening. I quit.

no im quitting because they removed females from the game forced their worldview on everyone, ignored the playerbase (who paid money for years) then blatantly stole everyones location data and sold it all to the highest bidder & proceeded to fill the "game" with advertisements heartbreaking

Yeah the pvp algorithm is crazy, I tried to push past level 20 last season and when I got serious... so did some of the lag moments. 😅 also screw elite raids, if you're going to make them that much harder and more complicated to coordinate.. at least Increase the shiny odds?!

I noticed a LOT of people just using 10 cp pokemon in rank 1-10. I assumed they were level 49s trying to get to 50 like me but maybe not...I am glad I got it over with already I can't stand go battle league. Thanks for the heads up.

I really wish for some sort of training battles in PGO, other than the team leaders who's lineup never changes, so you can practice and get familiar with new teams you are building, before using them, so you can learn and not tank while doing it.

The game freezing has been done to me in that exact same situation numerous times. Had no idea it could be a cheat and the game just sucked ass.

Spoofers will have rank 1 IV’s too, when most just stick to meta these small differences can matter especially in similar or mirror compositions.

I’m not even sure that the lagging is caused by your opponent… I am starting to think that is Niantic’s way of manipulating outcomes of matches. The reason I believe it is Niantic doing it because I’ve also been on the other end of it many times where I was losing badly and my opponent was going to win easily but all of the sudden they are getting the terrible lag and I’m able to get a victory when I should have lost being that I was hard countered. So this lag only happens to people that are winning and should get the victory but I’ve also experienced it where I was getting hard countered and losing badly and my opponent starts getting the lag. I know a lot of y’all probably have encountered this lag and lost because of it but I know that you all have also benefited from it and have won matches because your opponent started lagging when they had you beat but you get the victory because they lagged. This tells me it is Niantic doing this to manipulate outcomes of battles. The lag only happens to people that are winning the battle and never happens to the person that is losing.

I feel like the go battle league would be fair, worth doing, and fun if they matched you with your opponent and then both parties pick their teams. I get that would take more time to ready up the battle, but id rather wait for my opponent to pick a team and it be random and fair than waste my time losing 45% of my battles due to an unfair system based on moves and types that can make you lose or guarantee a win when it wants you to.

I just quit the game cause MEGA rayquaza raids glitching and in local areas people cant finish the raid with weather boost. GG playing since 2016 and cant take it anymore playing fair....

if they added the affect of having 6 mon vs 6 mon and you pick 3 it would be better.

Besides spoofing, you should call out poke maps, they allow you to completely ruin pokestop showcases and also give a massive GBL advantage, even help with very rare shinies such as looking for female combees.

The move change hardly makes any difference. All the new ones get tried out at low levels, but as soon as they get to 21, plus it's the same teams all time. And even if they manage to sort all the cheating out, pvp will never be down to skill as long as they have moves with random buffs and de buffs.

Figured half the "lag" incidents were not real accidents, when you have a perfect internet connection. Its why i don't bother with GBL unless it requires me to play, and even then i prefer to throw the fight with 10cp pokemon.

Niantic stopped caring a long time ago. We should have all seen in it coming when they fired over 100 employees maybe if they didn't we wouldn't have so much bugs and glitches. They got rid of silphroad. The battle league been buggy ever since they did the background changes and still have yet to fix it because there top content creators don't speak up and keeps quiet rn because it's go fest season and they say one thing bad or degrading them they will probably lose there sponsorship and to be able to go to there events and what not who knows. But it's just crazy how battle league content creators aren't even speaking up besides a couple. That's why nothing gets done and Niantic won't listen. I feel like they are either focusing on a newer game and that's why pokemon go been blah or come bonkers events then there are people are praise Niantic and there faults because they think they are going to be somewhat noticed by them when likely Niantic doesn't give a shit about you just that $. They wanted in person but yet still no one cares and yet they brought out the most this game was highly against. Spoofing that's what Niantic has lead people to do and I'm a legit player I don't ever see people out walking about or even doing raids but yet there are tons of pokemon in gyms my pokemon are being knocked out when nobody is there. The zygarde is kinda ridiculous too when your not guranteed a cell but need 250 cells just to evolve. Just became becoming more of a hassle then fun. Then they destroyed remote raid community but then want people to do remote raids on big events like go fest and raid days and such then they want to promote remote raiding but then people fall for it and fall right into niantic Palms then they wana defend niantic again as if the game great when really its in shambles.

I know these will never happen but I think this game should have a single player mode. What I mean by that if you choose to do so you can play the game without going outside. I know this is against whole point of pokemon go but i think it should be beneficial for legit players as well. You might think why would anyone play legit than, just make playing legit it 3x more rewarding(or nerf spoofing rewards like 3x distance for eggs, 1/3 stardust from everything etc) and don't let "spoofers" to compete in GBL(since we are imagining, give them a seperate queue if you want). This would create a big surge of players returning to the game because now everyone will be able to do the raids. I can't do any raids without paying for remote raid pass and hoping someone invites me. There is no one playing in my city and it is the biggest city in my country. How am I supposed to get a Dialga by myself yet alone max it out? This is the reason I quit because I can't participate in one of the most importants aspects of the game which I care. There are tons of bugs and problems in GBL which should be fixed but I don't see any problem with the algorithm. You have to have an algorithm and when you go up in the ranks there is like not enough players to run a good algorithm you just match with who is available, which is imo worse. People want random matching so they are not screwed by algorithm but I am sure they wont like the random matching either(random matching is still an algorithm in computer sense). Imagine getting 10 steel leads back to back against your fairy since it is random, would you be happier? I agree with any solution that reduces randomness like show 6 pick 3, but having an algorithm to match players is a must and I have no problem with it, since it applies to everyone. Do you really wanna get a match against someone with 300 elo and 500cp pokemon in great league? No I want to compete against people with equal skill and knowledge and due to game design some matches will be more favorable for one of the parties, that is the fact. I need an algorithm to match me with correct people and if I am getting a good luck someone would be getting bad luck at the same time, it is how it works. It is not algorithms fault that your team is triple weak to my lead, you should be glad that algorithm shown you your weakness.

I love battle league and i can barely play it due to horrendous lag and dumb frame drops ive lost 3 in a row because of it one battle i couldnt even tap my screen it was frozen but my oppoent having a field day before you know i have two pokemon fainted and then they have there pokemon fully charged. Then i just back out. The algo is definitely real.

I wonder to asked you if Niantic can’t restored to Pokémon Go will died out for the next year of 2025 or two, would you feel like to move on to care the most Digimon to make content about it and retired to Pokémon Go? We need to address all the cheaters who use multiple accounts. It’s against the TOS to have more than one account and yet a lot of these avid Go Battle League participants have multiple accounts they battle on. I’ve seen the leader boards for Go Battle League and saw a player ranked #88 named RaichuCB and then a few spots down I see another player with the name RaichuCM. What are the odds of these 2 trainers being different people with the almost identical name and both ranked in top 100 of the world. This is just one clear example and proof people multi account which is breaking the games TOS. Lol most people reading my comment now probably have a few accounts they use. I know they make the claim it’s their significant other’s account of their child’s account. 😆

I was crazy in love with this game until they ruined it by nerfing the incense and doubling remote raid passes. Now I play for online friends and trading. It's sad because I truly miss raiding and online raiding communities. My interest in the game now is so low that it's almost a chore.

Everyone quit where i live since last year with the RR nerf and assume with all qol taken away since covid. (Imo it was amazing through covid) incense worked and could play from home. I dont honestly care who disagrees but it was more fun playing from home. Just having that option. I dont blame people spoofing as its just not worth going out walking spawns are shit! Same old crap and lack of spawns. Ive sat outside after catching whatever and waiting on next mons too spawn is shit. Its what made quit its boring as hell. If mons respawned faster it wouldnt be so bad
