Another FOSS tool is also KDE connect, its more general porpouse than this one(with multmedia control, remote mouse, etc) but worse at file sharing, so i will use this one for FT and kde connect for the rest xp.

i have noticed that kde connect atleast works better in linux mint than in ubuntu. in ubuntu, the remote control feature is broken and doesn't work properly

quick share for me between windows and android has been hit and miss. It works sometimes only. If a third party dev can make this why cant windows.😒
