Tomo, I'm older and trying to learn guitar. I'm trying to go beyond cord shapes and play it like you just did. Your practice/playing was very expressive: very enjoyable. I really appreciate the one string scale lesson. Major Scale seems to be the foundation for all scales...I will practice. Thank you

I loved it when you were talking about dynamics and you picked super hard LOL. That "Rocker" expression! Priceless! I might have believed Fujita-sensei might have been a former member of Loudness... but they're from Osaka I think not Kyoto. Thinking of Osaka makes me want some takoyaki now... Thank you for this, Fujita-sensei, educational AND entertaining! Love your sense of humor,

Awesome clip.... your videos always seem to open a new perspective for me (been playing since 1993) ... thanks a lot Tomo San 🎉😊! PS - i am from india n in our traditional indian classical music ..we hv concept of 'Raga' ....which uses these intervals n there is much emphasis on the 'mood' creation by use of right set of notes....really amazing music science from 000s of years.... hv you ever studied this, Tomo ?

I play by ear I can hear and replicate the sounds/ notes being played , but trying to figure how the positions of the scales apply its a bit confusing but can replicate each of those minor and major notes within every position 1 thru 5 using different patterns will be interesting and fun .

First of all thank you for those lesson, they really help for fret board knowledge. So i recently reunited with my lovely accoustic guitard after 10 years or so. I am much more focus to learn theory than cowboy song like in the past. It might be the reason why we broke up 😂. That being said i have a much more pleasing time by doing so, but there is so much to learn. Small step is key and i love that. I make good progress but there is some things i want to know if it is ok or not. Here is my question, the palm mute ! Can i learn the form or shape of anythings: arpeggio, pentatonic... before thinking to include the palm mute or it is better to shovel everything together. To me those shape and mute combine are a huge step, but i know i have to challenge myself sometimes too. Well thank you again, your a great teacher ! Im watching you from Québec, Canada. ✌️

Hello Tomo, I was wondering what do you think is the best chair for guitar practice? I have been using a very nice Roc-N-Soc swivel stool. After 30-40 minutes my back gets sore. I am looking for a chair with a back and maybe fold up arms. Great support, comfort, and adjustability is very important. I respect your opinion very much. Thanks

"most" lessons are amazing..... but! they always focus on the notes, chords, arpeggios, shapes etc..... but no one ever takes the TIME to explain how you can finger those notes.... regardless if you have 2 fingers or 5 there is NOT enough attention on fingering.... im struggling because I dont know which fingers to play what string or for LEFT OR RIGHT hand...... fingering for LEFT hand can mean the difference of being efficient or not.... and people only focus on the note but NOT the actual fingering of those notes/chords.
