Had a 960m in one of my “gaming” laptops, (had pretty much the same performance as the 950) The card was a tank, limited VRAM definitely holds it back but still a capable card with some titles on Low/Med Settings! Hope you enjoyed the video!

I have a questions im buying gaming pc and all components are done but i chosed rtx 3070 ti from Gigabyte and i dont know is it still worth it buying it or wait for 4000 series

Graphics cards are relatively cheap as of now, so buying something like a 3070-ti would not be a bad idea. We still don't know for sure when the 4000 series will come out. So you may end up waiting longer than you think if you do choose to wait.

I would wait for the release of the cards, see the official performance of the 4000 series and if it is not what you were expecting, the 3000 series should get quite a bit cheaper.

1:52 - It's funny how you just explain how VRAM is layed out, then you write 160-bit 12GB, which doesn't add up. It will be 192-bit 12GB, before it was rumored to be 160-bit 10GB.

Im going to ask this, for a 2k 240hz would be better to buy a 3090 oc if i find it at a good price below 1000$ or should i go for one of the 4000 series and why?

To achieve 240hz 2k is definitely a hard task (as you probably know) you’ll need something like a 3080ti to 3090 level performance to get close I think if you have a system that’s serviceable right now then just hold out and wait, with all the leaks a rumor and probably a “3090ti level” 4080 coming out that would be the best option price to performance wise Hope you enjoyed the video!

i currently have 3070 but i want to change it because its too loud for me. It has only 2 fans. Im wondering about 3090 or.. waiting for 4080. Any advice?

Honestly If you were currently using a 3070 I don’t think you would really notice that great of a difference in performance unless you were doing 4k/1440p RayTracing and really trying to utilize a high hz monitor And considering the high power draw of the 3090 the fan noice might just be the same, although switching to a different brand of card might make a difference! I’d say best bet, spend some money now on better cooling for your case which would help the cooling of the GPU, and wait for the 4080 :)

@@MikMatTech my pc case has 4 fans but i found out that it isnt actually a good case and its so loud.... im using 144hz ultrawide 1440p monitor so i really need that fps. About gpu.. well i undervolted it and it runs quiet. But the performance is also worse. Well, guess im gonna wait for 4080

Which 3070 is too loud? Generally if you want a quiet card, it's best to keep up to max 70 series, but undervolted 4080 should also be fine.

@@Gr1mR34p3r85 ventus 2x. Dont get me wrong, hearing your gpu isnt something that i cant stand. What i actually cant stand, is the temperature going up to 83 degrees with 90% or higher fans power. It screams and begs for mercy. And it makes a strange noise (you can type rtx 3070 ventus fan noise and first video will pop up). Now after undervolting, fans are at 60-65% which isnt that bad. But i lost like 20-25 fps average. So trust me, i know these arent quiet, but 3fans version is damn quiet in coparsion to 2 fans version.

My 1060 is still great lmao. Then again I built this PC just before starting college so it has definitely served its purpose for HW & Emulating Pokemon Platinum. Will definitely try to get the 4090 or 5090 depending on whats out by the time I graduate.

I can get a 3080Ti for $850 brand new. Good model too. But 40 series is coming. I want to know for sure if 4070 will actually outperform the 3080Ti for less money.

Depending on what you’re upgrading from it might be worth going for the 3080ti right now, I would say if you can hold off with what you have it will make your decision easier in the next couple months (and the 3080ti might get even cheaper by then) Hope you enjoyed the video!

With anything in demand there will always be scalpers for the first couple months Although with Crypto much less profitable in the last few months it won’t be NEARLY as bad as the 3000 series launch If you’re looking to build a Pc right now or the next month or two, go for the 3070, it will still be worth a decent chunk of money even when the 4070 is out if you want the upgrade! I need a new gaming pc and can wait a bit for the 4000 series, but will the average consumer even be able to get one? It was impossible to get the 3000 series at launch. All the bots bought them up. I don't feel like going through that nonsense again!

If you can wait a bit you’ll have a huge benefit waiting for the 4000 series, Since the price of crypto has gone down so much it’s not as profitable to mine which is where majority of the 3000 series went So I don’t believe the 4000 series is going to be nearly as bad, but even if it’s tough to get your hands on I’m sure you could get a great deal on 3000 series cards around then Hope you enjoyed the video!

I would say go for Ryzen 5 3600 for the CPU You can find them second hand for about $100-$150 Go for a basic B450 motherboard something like the Gigabyte DS3H Go for a 1TB M.2 650w or higher power supply (stick to trusted brands) Then second hand 2060 go pretty cheap Then 16GB of Atleast 3000mhz DDR4 And then pick a case with a little bit of size to make your first building experience a little easier. Something like the Liancool 215 it’s a great starter case with good airflow All said and done you should be around the $700-$800 range

For monitors search for some deals and looks for around 120-144hz with less then 3ms response time probably around $120-$150 for a decent one

I’m assuming the 3000 series will get slightly even cheaper around the launch, Although some of these board partners are actually losing money with the current prices, but price to performance wise it probably won’t be comparable to the 4000 series

That was older leaks from March, So far all the recent leaks have shown GDDR6X but just at faster speeds on the higher end models

wouldn't surprise me if 4090's and 4080 ti's came with gddr7 since nvidia has been delaying and aib partners don't even have specs yet for the upper echelon cards according to redgamingtech....so anything is possible
