I have _needed_ this keyboard since the advent of MIDI... The layout is as close to perfect as I can dream up (but didn't, kudos to the designers for paying attention.) Bar gigs, solo busking, arenas, ONE of the eight one-click Live Set buttons can give a jazz trio everything needed for the entire night - piano, ep, drawbar organ and backing track through[ut - at an AMAZING price point. Thanks, Yamaha. THe DX7 was ground-breaking. But THIS is _gig-breaking!_ You'll sell TONS.

I think the CK61 is a great all purpose keyboard… lightweight, great sounds, built in speakers, battery powered, bluetooth… the list goes on. The CK88 would be great to use in theatre practices and performances… usb midi and audio to use in combination with MainStage!! 😎

I wish there is a CK61 with the weighted keys of the CK88.

This CK has it all, bought a 61 last week. Only drawback is I have to wait at least 10 weeks for the gig bag. Non in the country that I can find.

I guess my only criticism is the rubber buttons. Would appreciate backlit hard clear acrylic perhaps?

Anything will sound good with Luke playing it but yeah, nice keyboards and good pricing👍

I'm about to get the 61 - question - are effects settings saved when you overwrite a patch? Or are those exclusively manual? Great video by the way.

Got excited when this came out (ready to ditch the RD-88) until I found out that it only gets the crappy reface organs. The YC organs would have been great.....and would be happy to pay extra for it. Great demo though

Maybe eventually. Thye don't want to sell their flagship sounds in a mid-range unit, probably. But for the buckjs, I'm sold. It's _always_ a trade-off, you almost NEVER get what you pay for, but this is pretty close.

So it’s just piano and organ? Seen a few of Luke’s videos on this but still not really heard what to can do other than sound wonderfully piano like under Luke’s hands 😂

@@tonyr.4778 yeah, i was being sarcastic. Every video at that time by Luke was really just piano and Organ. Never really got to hear what else it could do.

Make a 76 key. No one ever plays any of the other sounds. How's the bass, woodwinds, brass?

Search KZfaq, there are lots of demos. I NEED the 88, but I will split the organ into a lower manual accompaniment (808000) and upper active drawbar rig, split at aound Bb4, lower up an octave, upper down one.. So one keyboard, two manuals. The acoustic bass is nice, some acoustic guitars, Rhodes seem OK, the rest that I have heard (on YT, mine arrives Wednesday) seem pretty GM.

I like the Yamaha CP88 stage piano, CP is much more versatile.

it's a rocksolid keybed, NWX keybed is a lot more expensive

@@maximusheronimus23980, I have the Moxf8 (GHS), when I tried the P515's NWX action, I fell in-love with it. I love the CK's user interface and its ergonomics. I just don't like GHS action.

@@blackmambafan24 you want a better keypad you pay a lot more ..this keyboard is in the affordable bracket ..no one is moaning about the price!... it is what it is ..even a £4,000 nord stage 4 doesn't have the best keybed

@@blackmambafan24 i also love the action, but then it will be in a whole other pricebracket i think... NWX is the cream on the pie as feel, but a GHS is more than standard... i've had a test on a friend's Casio, and that difference in favour of GHS is huge

I've liked GHS on some boards and disliked it on others, and I"m not sure what accounts for the difference. I'll be curious to try it on the CK88.
