Omg, I can't believe you actually did the video! Thank you so much :) I was actually also researching about the other universities you mentioned and I was even very close to applying specifically for Keio University's Giga program under policy management. Thanks a lot for sharing. Since I am trying to apply to APU, I still have more questions. First, what do you think what make you get 80 percent scholarship? Japanese and English required scores or something specific like, essays? And please let me know whether I can pay the rest of the tution fee and the living cost by doing part time jobs. Hello Annie, good to listen to you. This is a very effective video that you made for international students who want to enroll in APU, Japan. I am a very lazy person to Google, therefore asking your help to judge my eligibility for Masters Program in Architecture at APU. Lets me talk about myself. 1. I am Nahid Hasan, 38 years old. 2. Passed Diploma in Civil 2016, Bachelor in Civil -2020. 3. Has job experience from 2009 -2016 as a CAD operator and Assistant Architect . Since 2016 executing my own consulting business (Architectural -Engineering consulting firm). 4. Am I eligible to enroll at APU, Japan for Masters in Architecture with a suitable scholarship?

Hi I'm now attending Japanese Language School in Japan and after two years of studying Japanese I wanna enroll to APU but I wanna study with English Program bc my Japanese is now N5 and my teachers said that after two years, my Japanese will be N3. So, I'm thinking about to sit IELTS and enroll with IELTS band score. But I'm gonna try my best to get high score in my JLPT N3. Is JLPT N3 and IELTS band score is enough to enroll and get scholarship at APU? 🥺 I really wanna go there and I'm afraid of not getting. Please answer me when you have time

Sorry i have another question. If i apply from the japanese side do i have to take the TOEFL ? I have eiken 1 and a good score on TOEIC. My first language is English so i wasnt sure if applying from the Japnese side would be weird or not.

Hi !! You need to look into whether you apply as an E-basis student, or J-basis student. I'm not sure for J-basis, but for E-basis English qualification is required, if English is not your first language.

I had a question about the interview! If you get into stage 1 as long as you are the same person as your application does that mean you finally passed?

There are a couple of stages to applying (please check the website for latest procedures). The first stage is submitting documents and answer application form. After that, if you successfully pass it, you will be asked to sit an interview !

hey i wanted to join College of International Management (APM) as an 3 year transfer student but i have confusions over some issues. i am from Karachi Pakistan and there are no APU offices here to help and guide. for example there is a section in application form where they are asking "Application to Transfer Credit as an APU Major Subject". kindly guide me

I think you should email them your syllabus or curriculum , for that that's what they said I wanted to transfer for 2nd year although I'm out of time since I can't do bank transfer because my currency doesn't support yen

OH! That's a really good question and suggestions. But as I'm not up to date with the latest admission information, I may not be able to make a video about this. But a tip I would have is to see if there is an APU office in your home country; ask your seniors studying at APU; and keep close contact with APU office!

Hey, i would like to know , i was studied japanese language in japan and i happened to go to my country after 1 and half years of language school suddenly, because of my fathers illness. Now i'm 4th year undergraduate of tourism and hospitality management ,here in my country. i will be graduate next year and i have passed JLPT N2 as well, is there any possibility to apply for futher studies in APU? Hey Annie Hoang, So I was going through the application form of APU and was asked which college I would like to join. So, I want to study an engineering major(CS/Biomed Eng) but APS or APM list doesn't have any engineering major. I want to just be sure, so, APU doesn't offer any engineering major in undergrad?

Yea :( APU is a Business Management + Social Science school. So unfortunately, engineering is not offered. Currently, our degree upon graduation is Bachelor of Business Administration; and Bachelor of Social Science

Oh but, I think there are other universities in Japan that offers CS of other engineering-related majors (not sure if they offer it in English). But you can look into Toyo University, or Tokyo University, Tokyo University of Technology, etc

Each university has their own scholarship systems, with different criteria and selection process. You should look into each of them one by one, see the % they offer, and from then you can calculate your expense

It's an important part! But your application includes many elements - test scores, English scores, interview, application, ability tests...... so GPA is not THE MOST important.

Hi Bilbina, Thank you for watching the video 🌱 Some tips on the top of my head: - Analyze the exams: how many parts there is, what is required in each part, any word/time limit, how long is it - Do mock exams: time yourself to get used to the format, practice under time pressure - Practice each part individually (create a routine to practice, i.e 20 minutes every day) - Ask senpai for tips or questions they got (for the essay part in IELTS) - Focus on the skill you are strong at, and practice on your weak points - Go to a language school or hire a tutor Hope this helps. You can make a list of criterias important to you when choosing schools ! Then go through the list, research each shool, and see which one satisfies those criterias.

It depends case by case. If you are unsure about your situation, you can directly contact the school Admission office, or at the APU local office.
