Everything Great About Survivor 46 in 15 Minutes

So I’ve finished watching Survivor 46. I’ve done videos on it, podcasts on it and I’ve got to say…it’s pretty darn good. I know I’m cynical even at the best of times but as much of a cold-hearted, evil little northern irish man I am yelling at Americans from my microphone I can at least look at production on this occasion, pat them on the back and tell them well done. This isn’t to say Survivor 46 is perfect, however it’s still a pretty flawed season with some of the worst parts of Modern Survivor hidden in its episodes in my opinion. So while I’ll be praising the season in this video by leaving a like on the video it lets me know you enjoy my reviews and I’ll get out my video talking about everything wrong regarding Survivor 46 sooner rather than later…

I think Jeff giving free food at tribal was actually a hidden effort to give Liz something to eat. Obviously they can't give one player food and not the others, so they made up this pretext of Jeff being so excited at tribal he wanted snacks to enjoy it, pretend to rub it in their faces, only to give them food out of "the kindness of his heart".

They shouldn't be casting people with the extent of food allergies that Liz has anyways. The risk of food starvation is too much and it's just stupid if a player can't eat anything.

Regardless of whether you agree with the win, I really think Kenzie had the best edit of any social player winner ever. It felt like 46 seasons of lessons learned finally paying off. Finally, they figured out how to showcase a player with this kind of game, and I think the 90 minutes was critical in letting them do it.

As a Swiftie myself, I got annoyed at Charlie citing t swift so damn much. Even at final tribal Tiff said she doesn’t want Taylor swift lyrics. I feel like producers probably egged on a few people to keep talking about something to create a character

3:27 its the opposite for me after hunters boot i got every placement correct going into the episodes and i could have potentially predicted hunters boot but i am always emotionally attached to some players and fully believed that hunter would win until the moment he was eliminated

I really enjoyed the season, the beginning was rough, but after Bhanu left it picked up so much and I enjoy that there wasnt so damn much "do this or lose your vote" like it was in 45, mostly idol stuff wich were hilariously not used every single time, I especially liked Q and maria as two very different kind of villain, even tough their ftc reasoining was bs and pure bitterness, I still enjoyed them and Charlie was fun to root for, Kenzie didnt do much for me and her edit even though she did basically not a lot made it incredibly obvious that she was winning otherwise charlie and maria would have gotten even more focus. But overall a really fun seasons with massive highpoints like Qs quit episodes but a incredibly rough beginning im gonna skip if I ever do a rewatch.

I have to say this might be the least twisty merge we’ve ever had in 6 seasons, no split tribal, no lost votes, the team immunity challenge and no effect, the last journey was premerge and all the journeys sucked The weak point was absolutely the twisty nature of the premerge and early merge where nothing seemed to really be happening

I wrote this at like 1 am, but I’m glad they got the twists done early, the cast clearly came to play and when allowed they showed a lot of killer instinct Yeah split tribal completely slipped my mind, Tim & Soda just weren’t memorable enough

So much of the cast were obviously trying to be "Survivor Legends" and were way too hyper aware that they were on the show. There wasn't much genuine about this group. Soda tried every second for the first two episodes to say the title of the episode and everyone else had their cameo accounts created before they went off to film.

Bob giving the fake idol to Randy and making him look stupid right before he gets on the jury, Bob was extremely lucky that Susie won immunity at 4 otherwise Matty probably wins the game since Randy only voted for Bob because he hated Susie more Natalie’s refusal to take on Tony at firemaking cost her the game, she had 13 jurors telling her she would not win the game against him and she still left it in Sarah’s hands and got clobbered at final tribal

@roypalmer69 Thai entire comment is moronic, Natalie is unable to win the game next to Tony, if you wanna play for second you should’ve stayed home Hell I’d say if Sarah beat Tony, Sarah would win for taking out the biggest threat Survivor is all about risk and luck is not a favorable skill to rely on

That's so odd, because I found this being the most unrootable cast since Thailand. I'm usually in lockstep on most of your opinions, but I can't disagree more.
