I checked the shop's website and apparently they sell other Fazer products too. And they mention they import candy/treats from Sweden and also they mention "Scandinavian treats". If they had wrote "Nordic countries", then it would be accurate.

I tried one once without knowing what it was and I immediately spat it out and washed my mouth but later on I decided to give them another shot and the taste just kept getting more confusing and eventually I spat it out lol

I'm from the uk, but I love saltish liquorish, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. At first I liked it but my friend was unsure when I showed her, but after a while we were kinda addicted and kept eating the packet (we got it in flying tiger).

As someone who lived not in Sweden but in Finland, both marabou and geisha (made by fazer, a Finnish company) I can confirm that both are absolutely amazing and if you ever get the chance then you should try it

Maranou is not finnish... Fazer is, not marabou. It's Swedish. Plus Fazer is really popular in Sweden.

@@arnljot9030 I am pretty sure they only ment Geisha is made by Fazer, since they wrote that part after it. Also since they said "made by...". Since Geisha is a spesiffic candy you can say it is made by Fazer, however since Marabou is a whole brand on it's own, you can't really say marabou is made by some other brand that is in the same level. Plus, Marabou is very popular is Finland 😉 Anyway, hope that didn't come out as passive agressive, hard to indicate tone with a written coment sometimes, have a nice day

That is literally all of my childhood candies that I enjoyed as a kid in Denmark! We called it 'Friday-candy'! Or 'fredags-slik' as candy in Danish is called 'slik' :o)

@@jeanettejackson6952 Same, the gum one was very accurate tho, i don’t really know how to describe it, since i’ve grown up with it so I’m like «Oh it just tasts like Maoam» but the most accurate is prob like a gum feeling texture, with a hard spiky sand dough, it’s very complicated😅😂

Fazer makes some of the BEST chocolate I’ve ever had. I order it a couple times a year as a special treat, but I went to the Fazer experience in Finland a few years ago - 110% worth it!

Yep I feel like Fazer is the best chocolate brand out there at this point, maybe along with Lindt. I used to love almost every kind of chocolate but during the last 5-10 years its been getting worse and worse for some reason, most brands taste like sickly sweet cocoa butter to me

We have these in the uk everywhere!! They are called pick and mix and less expensive but probably not as good as these. And all our chocolate is resealable!!

Those little cola flavoured balls are actually from Haribo! We have them in Germany aswell and they are called „Haribo Kracher“ here they come in all different flavours from cola to berries to mixed or even just blue they are all really good!

The chocolate caramel is like one of my favorites to take, it's called "Center" I'm also very happy u tried out so many different swedish Candy's! (I'm from Sweden 🇸🇪) But the geisha chocolate isn't from Sweden 🇸🇪 Edit: Those little cola things that are like ovals (idk there name) are some of my favorites too! Hope u enjoyed eating them!

You have to try Scandinavian salted black licorice! It's called salmiakk and it's made with ammonium chloride salt instead of sodium chloride, which gives you a super unique nasal rush when you eat it!

@@viivi005It's not actually known who made the 1st salmiakki candy since ammonium chloride powder was used as a cough medicine for a while and by 1930's it was sold in Finland, Norway, the Netherlands and Sweden in a pastille form with ammonium chloride being infused to liquorice. Nobody knows who did it first though.

as a dane who has all these in normal stores, hearing: “its not that sweet, to one of our sweetest things blee my mind” 😂😂 how sweet must candy be at your place 🤯 its not relly swedish i think more north european, nordic country candy, but I believe if you go to a swedish candyshop you will find all these, so in that sense they are swedish. 😊

Yeah those Caramel Cups called Center in Sweden are really yummy, one of my faves at the pick & mix section. In Sweden they’re also sold in standalone bars.
