As a local person from Chengdu I'm excited to see you tasted some of food in Chengdu. Just one reminder: stinky tofu and ice cream are not specific in Chengdu, stinky tofu is from Changsha in Hunan Province and the ice cream is from a chain drink bar called Mixuebingcheng headquartered in Henan Province. But anyway it's fantastic to taste them. There's a lot more local food in Chengdu you can have a taste of and more tourist attractions you can have a good view of. Have a good time in Chengdu!

I think the second noodles you had was "twice cooked pork belly" noodles, Hui Guo Rou or 回锅肉 in Chinese. A classic Sichuanese dish, they just use the dish as the noodle topping.
