A few weeks after I got my bun, I caught him flopped. I’m not even joking when I say, I thought he was dead. I was terrified!! A few minutes of crying later, he gets up and runs to his food.

My bunny doesn't chew on anything. Cords, wires, wood, walls, doors, corners, entertainment centers, chairs. NOTHING. I love her so much! She's such a blessing and she's free roam in my bedroom only, because of my parents and other animals, her and my dog love each other, and we also use her poop as plant fertilizer 😂

Bunnies really do chew up EVERYTHING!! Cords, walls, baseboards, literally any wood and so much more haha. This is why they need to have lots of toys, no need to buy them, cardboard and untreated wood are totally fine for them. Luv ur videos 🥰

My rabbit doesn't seem to like chewing wood (she ignores wood toys and never chews up my wooden furnitures), although she sometimes still chews up smaller apple sticks. Her biggest victims are cords, I've replaced so many. 🤦‍♀️ She only attacks cardboards when she's bored.

so far my bunny hasn't really chewen anything unappropriate (expected a litttle amount of cardboard and the bag her hay was in lol) up which im really suprised of. It's nice because i live on rent and have to keep the apartment neat, but at the same time idk if i should be worried. Because everyone says their bunnies chew. She doesn't. her teeth are fine it's not because of that

This video really proves the point that you can't know everything without bunny experience. When I got my rabbit I had been researching for nearly 5yrs and thought I knew everything... But haha... No. I freaked out when I got my bun and felt like I was clueless and knew nothing! And bunny language is so much more important than I thought it was!

We just adopted our bun 2 weeks ago. All these videos have helped us so much! Thank You! That being said we think our bun is deaf because no matter what noise is made, he never turns to look. So we have adjusted the way we pick him give him treats. etc. It's been a tiny challenge but we will adjust to his needs and continue providing a safe space for him. 😊

Lol 😂 (he was super young when we got him about 7 months old "apparently" we think however he might have been around 5 1/2 months old. So maybe age has something to do with it.) Now his issue is biting his wife behind everyday 🤣 lucky enough she bites his butt back 😂

They will chew anything including your thigh. I had a tooth mark for every time I picked Muffin up. Finally after about a week and a half, he stopped doing that. I would only pick him up when he would come up and beg to be in my lap. I figured the biting might just be his way of initiating me in as his new mom. So I just gently put him down whenever he bit. With patience, he was finally just happy to sit quietly and be petted as I softly spoke to him. He ended up being the quieter and calmer of the two we had at the time. All rabbits are so sweet.

My boy would come up onto the bed and wait for me to move the duvet so he could come in and snuggle, it was so adorable. His little wife hates cuddles... He would chew and rip up anything and everything, made the free roaming a lot more difficult, but my girl only chews the carpet when I'm in the room with her to get my attention in the hopes that I'll open the door where the food's kept... 2 very different little floofs :D

I always googled for bunny poses, bunny behavior etc. In Hungary we have a Facebook group where we can share pictures and any issues about our bunnies 🐰 this group is very useful with thousands of responsible bunny owners. We collected all the exotic pet doctors and we always help the others with hay, pellets or even medicine for bunnies if there is needed. I am proud of this group in our small country and I think every state, town or country should have this kind of unity as bunmoms and bundads. I am thankful for your videos Morgan! On sound sensitivity: When I get sick and throw up, it sounds like I'm dying (I can't help how my body forces out the air from my lungs). One of our bunnies absolutely freaked out at me puking my guts out and stomped his feet and looked at me really worried and it took a while for me to calm him down. But after the third time this happened during the same day, he was just chilling next to me wondering why humans occasionally want to yell at toilets.

I was the same about the noise factor we have a dog who barks and Billy didn't hardly rect and I realized he got used to the noise he grew up seeing and hearing the dog, when I first got him he was 8 week old and I kept him in a rabbit cage up high above the dog and held him and and petted him, but very soon I realized he was just going to have to get used to the household noises, so first I placed him with his cage inside the dog kennel i put in a litter box inside his cage and opened and cage door inside the kennel he could get out and walk around within the confines of the kennel, this kept his living space small and he learned quickly to use his litter I used the same principles as with puppy training, he could play in a supervised way, and when not watched he was in his crate. In essence I crate trained my bunny and used the same principles as puppy house training, after a while when I knew he was well in to his litter training I removed the rabbit cage from the kennel, and now he has the kennel and I let him out in the house to run around with the dog, so he grew up at ground level with the dog running around the house making noise and barking, this most of the time does not bother him, though occasionally the dog will come charging in barking hysterically and startle the rabbit but most often his loud barking and charging around guarding the house doesn't much bother Billy. I'm not sure that Billy doesn't have hearing problems, it seems like he doesn't react to sounds like i would think a rabbit would, but that might be just that he is a mellow little guy, when he was a baby especially I wondered if he was okay he just didn't seem to notice loud noises. and even when he does he doesn't act like many other rabbits we have had who just go wild charging around like they are being killed, lol Billy has been frightened at times and i sit with him and calm him down buy petting him gently and tickling his ears he calms down fast. so he is fitting in well with our home. ad seems okay with the dog we do have to supervise them together and that will always be the case. always wit any dog you don't leave them alone together. in the past we had outdoor dogs and free running rabbits, we eft our dogs home and rabbits running freely and the dogs were fine with them, even though they were outside together all day when we were home. but the times when we didn't get the bunnies in before we left to go out and figured they were okay, it seemed the minute we left the dogs did a they pleased even though they had been fine all day with the rabbit. it was very strange that they did what ever they wanted when we were gone. yet were like angels when they knew we were home. hmmm very sinister lolol like they planned it, hmmmmm

He almost never poops outside the box. 2 things the internet said were impossible. He does however hate being cuddled and in my opinion sheds the same amount of hair as a full grown husky. My poor air filter needs changing like every 2 weeks when it's time. Doesn't help that in front of the return is his FAVORITE place to sit.

THANK YOU!!! We haven't even had our 2 buns for a whole year yet and they're bonding with me super well, although I can't pick them up yet (which is making litter training hard, hah) which is 100% cool, but everybody in the family thinks somethings wrong with them and it just pisses me off so much. My brother complains that he can't cuddle with them during a movie when he only looks at them 1-2 times a week. Like bro what do you expect ;-; Also really sorry for a bit of a negative rant but i gotta get it out somewhere :') So nice to see other people that understand bunny behavior!

My baby buns experienced their first severe thunderstorm last night; I legit couldn’t sleep thinking about how scared they might be so I slept with them. Needless to say, they were perfectly fine and I woke up to a loaf butt in my face. A lot of loud noises I thought would scare them don’t seem to phase them at all lol

Are there bunnies that like snuggles? Mine are absolutely sweet and LOVE to be petted, but hate to be picked up or snuggled in any way. I think that's normal. I think they are afraid of anything that feels like a trap or that they aren't in control because in the wild, that never ends well. Awesome job with your videos. Thank you for sharing so much great information!

Hello bunny lovers. I just want to share my story with people who would understand me. I'm in my mid 20s and have been caring for my bunny for 4 years now, since she was a month or two old baby. And I'm HEARTBROKEN. For this period of time, for second time now some allergy of mine gets activated. It is very severe .I felt like I was gonna die. The first time I did not wanted to accept that my bunny is the reason for that. After doctors and treatments it took me (almost 6) months to fully recover. Now 2 years later it has struck me again...really bad... I had to separate myself from my bunny. It has been a few days since she is at my grandparents house. I'm feeling much better physically ,I'm almost recovered, but my heart is Broken. I'm writing this with tears falling down my eyes because I know I can't take her to live with me daily anymore.. I can't be with her or cuddle her and she doesn't even know what's going on . They are taking good care of her but they are old and I don't know for how long she can stay there. I miss my BABY so much. Please, Please, go cuddle your bunnies, give them some treats from me, don't take your time with them for granted. What an amazing loving creatures they are.. Please send some positive energy towards me to find a solution for my situation. I'm not ready to give my baby for adoption. I can not imagine it. I miss her little kisses so much. I do not think there is someone who could care for her better than me. Sorry for the long comment. I'm from the people who doesn't usually write comments.

I am so sorry you are in such an unfortunate position. I would be crushed to have to give up my bunnies. My heart goes out to you. Research out a good new owner or a good rabbit rescue (a donation would be deserving) and know that you have done the best by your beloved bunny. Take, or have a quality photo of your sweetheart taken, and put it up where you see it often. Your health is paramount. Hugs to both of you. ❤

@@susancannon3561 Thank you so much for your kind words and understanding. I still have hope and haven't given up. I'm very grateful to have a supportive and understanding husband. He's got the idea of building a tiny house in our yard - small room with real roof, a window and door, isolated safe and warm. I just talked with my doctor who told me if the rabbit doesn't live in the same house with me, and lives in a separate space, and I just go to feed her and check on her, It will not trigger my allergy and I will be ok. So this is my last hope at the moment, but as you can imagine it is gonna cost a lot... We live in small poor country and with the pandemic we are really struggling. But I will do everything I can do to save up and build the tiny bunny house. My grandparents are going to take care of bunny for a few months for now. Please wish me luck and cross fingers the plan works out. Sending love to your bun buns.

our baby boy, who we named Levi, is now two months old, won't chew anything from the house. He tried tho. I just corrected him from the very beggining. And he doesn't chew anything form the house. Plus we buy him a whole lot of toys to chew, and boxes which he loves to chew. I don't know if it is because he's a baby, or he's just not interested. I'd LOVE it if that were the case. He doesn't pee or poop outside either (he did the first two days, we just corrected him). I don't know if this is because he's still not comfortable enough with the space (he started free roaming the entire living room a week ago, we got him three weeks ago (started roaming in a small space just by the fifth day he was home)) or because he's just a good boy lol. He allowed us to pet him the third day he was with us. He loves snuggles and to lick our faces. He stopped hiding the second day he got home... The only thing he is like "absolutely not", is picking him up. But we don't really have to since he LOVES being brushed and we can brive him into getting into places with food. Did we get lucky? Is he too small yet to tell if he's a troublemaker or not??? IDK, but he's the love of my eyes.

I’m in the process of training my bun that stepping on me isn’t bad, she now gets treats when all 4 paws are on my chest. She has gotten used to it a bit now and I can pet her while she is chowing down on her treats

I knew about flops but the first time Thumper flopped, I was scared out of mind! I was crying and trying to get a hold of my mom. It was a warmer day too, late spring early summer and my ac wasn't in yet. If I could go back and tell my younger self that he was just flopped I would.

I have palomino rabbits after rescuing a preggo mum and her mate, and I left a grocery bag on the floor, and one of the babies got into the grocery bag, had opened the tray of cookies, and was dragging one across the floor. This baby was like 8 weeks old, the cookie was bigger than their whole body. It was the most hilarious thing I'd ever seen in my life but I was terrified of GI Stasis from it. Nothing happened. Palominos in particular are very resilient bunnies, if you're looking for a good starter bunny. The biggest worry with them is them getting too FAT and then not being able to clean their butt, they can get grumpy + constipated if you don't keep an eye on their weight.

Hi Morgan and Cinnabun. My Bunny Bebe doesn't chew. Not even on her Willow toys. It's odd and I worry about her teeth but her teeth are doing just fine. As for cuddling, oh boy, Bebs loves a cuddle or should I say snuggle. She gets very bossy for them. I must snuggle her several times a day. We have full blown snuggles with lots of kisses. Like Cinnabun she's an only rabbit but she absolutely thrives being free roam. I think she's been humanized if I'm completely honest 😂😂 Any who, big bunny hugs from Australia 😘
