Haha more like take your mind off your sons and teach your daughters after you taught your sons OR THEACH BOTH because most parents teach their sons using a belt or wire but exclude using those for girls-(I’m not saying this is wrong it’s 100% ok to do) so the boys know not to do something because they will get the wire or hot spatula on their butt but females don’t know what consequences are sorry for those who I offended this is just my thought just meant like teach them equal

I’m really, sick of people saying “I know men have it hard but girls have it harder” That just isn’t true. Your sex doesn’t determine how hard, your life is. A man would have to go to work everyday, protect he’s family put food on the table and he doesn’t complain about anything, and he does it because he is a man. A woman would take care of kids and they cook clean, they also have it hard but they wouldn’t complain because there a woman. Men and woman don’t have it equally as hard, because your sex doesn’t make your life harder

I had an ex in high school where the dad was super protective of his daughter and was so strict on her dating, she needed to be treated like a princess. Then there was me only 2 years older. They allowed their son to treat me horribly right in front of them. Complete emotional abuse. Aware of his cheating, encouraged it even. They would tell my parents I was sleeping in another room when I wasn’t. They raised their sons to be the men they were scared their daughter would find. Absolutely disgusting

IDK, but I'd definitely not say "instead of protecting your daughters, teach your sons" is the best thing I've ever heard. And it would definitely not be in the top 1000 either, and if you mean teaching your sons to know that girls will have unmeetable expectations and never date girls when you're young, I agree that is an accurate but very pessimistic lesson to teach them. I would encourage my son if I had one that wanted to date when he is young to remember that girls will have expectations that you cannot meet like everyone else. If he truly likes her then he shouldn't be afraid to voice his disagreements about her expectations with her if he truly cares about her. Besides that, date when you're older because there are many bonuses. 1. You have enough life skills to know when you see a potential toxic relationship. 2. Those girls who babble about all their struggles will also have life experience to know that guys don't want to hear it because it is and sounds very demeaning towards them and that the guys have experience in life. 3. It lets you know situations in relationships are toxic not the people themselves. For those who disagree with me, hi. Also, have you guys ever had that one friend that always complained about how life was so hard for them or the friend that keeps giving excuses for something they did? It gets tired after a while. What is better trying to fix problems or complaining about problems?Even if we add a 3rd option of complaining about problems while fixing them, does that change the answer? That doesn't mean bringing up problems is bad because there is a difference btween addressing issues vs complaing about issues. Complaining makes everyone miserable. Addressing issues attempts to create solutions. Addressing issues can devolve into complaining if people are mad. For those who say "but it's not all men," why are there barely any positives/sympathy towards men when this phrase is said or "men have it hard, but women have it harder" statements? The truth of the matter is it's just different for several reasons. Biology, neurological processes, societal issues, morality etc. makes it very difficult to compare both gender's problems because they innately function differently. Comparing the severity of problems of different groups just divides more people.
@moth_WC
@moth_WC 8 ай бұрын
Can we all agree we all have it hard? On one hand, historically, women have been oppressed, not been able to vote, seen as objects to their husbands, been forced into arranged marriages, sold through human trafficking, etc. (1 in every 4 women have also encountered sexual assault in their lives) Even nowadays we have to fear for our safety when walking home alone at night. Unjust school dress codes, catcalling, being told we are “asking for it” by showing out shoulders, etc. On the other hand, men are very often called weak for showing sadness and emotion (which is much more harmful than you would think), statistically are more likely to be violently attacked, stereotyped by “feminists” who hate all men without good reason. Some men can’t even be alone with their child in a public space without people being suspicious of him being a pedo or a kidnapper. Many men will be called horrible names just for asking a women out and simply being polite about it. Not to mention being called to war unexpectedly throughout history And I’ll say, a lot of the “struggles” mentioned in the comment section are things that both men and women go through

I agree but it doesn’t mean we can’t talk about it and try to change it. If we just sit quiet and complacent to what the world is, positive change will never come and we’ as women are doing exactly what everyone tells us to. If our ancestors sat quiet there would still be slavery and women wouldn’t be able to vote or open a bank account. Your response does matter, but this is a great response. Calling out behaviors we feel are unfair is exactly how we change the world to be better for future generations. If you’ve gone through this, why do you want future generations to go through the same things?

Men are taught not to hurt woman and rape etc.. if u know that u might be hurt by going out at night, then its your fault as well. for eg: if u take too many meds it isn't the doctors fault, even if doctor tells u that it is not good for u, some people still take it... its the same thing, u know that u might be attacked why take ricks. even as a man i avoid going on a lonely road at night.

@@tikarogers2717 Yes tika, i understand this isn't an attack, we are having a discussion to understand both sides, for your point- Do u know why you can go outside? because the army (which consists mainly of men btw) protect us, but if you know that hey there is a bomber outside my door, but since the bomber should not blow the whole block up i will go out and do /this/ that etc. It sounds insane doesn't it? U teach people not to kill right but the homicide rate is America alone is 17.2%... So tika tell me will u go out in such a scenario where u know the person might kill u. its the same for going out at night alone. If u do go out take precautions but as a kid, parents don't want to let anyone hurt u that's why they ask u to not go out meanwhile teaching their sons to not hurt women... As for your behavior point, there always will be an excuse. Isn't a terrorist excuse he was hurt as child or he was alone and stuff.

@@sendongjamir4940 My Dear, you need to wake up, we are in the real world not in a fairy tale... Even as a man i don't go alone at night in a lonely road. BTW if u r getting hurt it is not your fault but if you are putting yourself in a position where you might get hurt and then do get hurt then it is your fault. and i am copy pasting this in order to make u understand the truth
