I’m an engineer and recently started working for McLaren and it’s good to hear real customer experience. It’s great that you love the car, we also love the car. Some of the points you mentioned were already known but had to be compromised i believe like the rear view blockage but as i found out that McLaren has the brightest engineers in its arsenal, every comment you make is being improved if technically possible. You have trade-offs and sometimes it’s not possible to find the third option with a win win but actually i should say that, McLaren engineers were always after this third option..

Finally, someone is honest about the quarks of a supercar!

Your honesty is refreshing. Every car has its flaws but it's amazing modern McLarens still have these silly issues. Never mind that it's not until the new Artura that finally added support Apple Carplay/Android Auto. Keep up the great work!

Great video, Mickey--as usual. Funny, the TV series Auto Mondial--the same day, featured the 765. British, but when they get away from EV crap, usually good reviews. They raved about it. You have some good negative points that I wouldn't like either, but I had them about my Vettes and my M4 Comp, too. Just being honest doesn't mean you don't really like the car, obviously, as you do. But, OK--you can ship it to me. And get that Prius you've been eying...😀

I think I might be the only one not quite understanding this. Why would anyone buy a car so expensive without knowing these things first? Although, I will say I think in 2022 one should be able to assume that the rear-view camera in any car would be at least as decent as a $30 camera you can buy off Amazon - so I do agree with you on that point and also the front-lift should never take 10 seconds. I had a 2013 Gallardo a few years back which did it quicker than that!

It’s the Mclaren lifestyle, it’s a love and hate relationship. My 720s has been great so far just the details. The rattles, I’ve had to fix some things myself. Great video it’s 100% accurate 😆🔥

Bro I recently got the 720s and I feel like the 765LT would just be an extreme version of what I feel and I feel exactly the same things owning the car, from the gas station to the sweatiness of being in jail in a few seconds from speeding and the urge to do so 😂 stressful but i fucking love the car and its a keeper

I agree with how long it takes for the lift to raise all the way up and it sucks that the wheels have to be straight in order for the lift to work. As far as the gas meter I try to cruise more often now lol. I %100 agree with gas station attention and blindness with the wing lol. I do not have the 765LT but I do have the 720s.

Does it vibrate as much as your old 600 LT ? I suffer from vertigo and I know a lot of sport super cars vibrate to give you a more raw feeling that would get me dizzy.

Listen I know you know your stuff and got plenty of experience with supercars but I think you bought the wrong car. That's coming from a 650s owner here. All these issues are well know for McLarens and LTs in general.

Who cares about audio and stereo in a super car you knew when buying it it wasn’t gonna be good they are built for looks , speed and Performance nothing else lol come on but the nose lift is definitely a problem should be much better and faster and that gauge thing should definitely be looked at id take it to a dealer and see wtf is up with that cause that should not be happening
