So now I know you're a Swiftie and I'm never leaving! This is why there are several college courses on her. I'm a boomer Swiftie (she's easily my all-time favorite artist). She's an amazing business person and an inspiration, of course. She got me to start making music at 60 (almost done with my 8th album in 3+ years). Don't forget one of her main strengths -- her soft skills! The most important strength in my career. You can be "pretty good" at what you do, and still create raving fans if they want to work with you.

It also has to do with how she looks, she is beautiful and young and she keeps her style respectful so she doesn't turn off younger fans, but her relationship history shows she is a grown woman doing grown woman things which appeals to older audiences.

3:49 That's a beautiful example of show, don't tell. Here's a story: There's an Italian restaurant called Anton's in Vancouver, Canada. But, it's not really good Italian food. But yet they get hour long lineups for takeout. Every day. Why? See, Anton's is situated in a student neighbourhood so all of their portions are massive. Their pots are probably the size of SUVs to keep up with demand. They know their core clientele considers quantity far more important than quality so Anton's gives them what they want. Which goes to show...you could still have a shitty product, but as long as you're serving a need, then you're good.
