Well hello there! I’ve got 5 books to talk about today, one of which is written by one of my all-time fave authors, so you’ll have to stay tuned to find out which one that is 👀.
I have finally recovered from my cold/not being on honeymoon anymore (that’s a lie, take me baaaack 💔!) to record this, but better late than never 😬.
My goal is to read 70 books this year, which is 9 more than 2023, so follow along with me this year to see if I make it or not!

I absolutely love the bookish asmr vibe! I felt so cozy while watching ✨ Loved hearing your thoughts on The Hate U Give-such a powerful book! I still haven't seen the movie either

Excellent vid🎉 by the way when books are “removed” from public school libraries in the USA it’s only an individual school or district at a time, usually at the instigation of complaining parents, never from the government. School systems in the USA are totally independent from each other, even from town to town. Personally I think it’s way too easy for one activist parent to push these changes in one library but that’s the way it works. If the book was banned in more than one library it likely would have been Florida where there’s an awful governor who just passed a law about school libraries. But it’s caused so much chaos he’s already admitted it needs revising. That’s my long winded explanation😊
